Just want to know if this is a spam

I just got a call from BS compliance officer claiming they are serving me papers and I should call this number, 877-279-2905 and he said Integrity Consulting is the company, but looked them up and no idea who they are.  I think it must be a scam to try and have me call this number.

My mother received this message as well saying that she was a compliance officer in randolph county name nicole jones. Spoke very fast in the voicemail .  Is this a scam?

got a local call from a guy saying had a claim against me in the county I live in and to call this 877-279-2905 and have them call him to stop serving me papers. He had a local number and called my work. Sounds fishy and I don't think people who serve you call first so I guess will wait it and see if he shows. Yikes!!! I hope its a scam. I don't think I did anything to have a claim against me.

Had a woman call my SISTERS phone stating the message was for me and that they are serving me papers? Not sure what it's about....tried to call back but said all the associates were busy????

Ah yes, the process sever scam.

Criminals masquerading as debt collectors attempt to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged (they use the bad check or hot check claim a lot) and go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished without actually being sued or going to court, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money. They will use the words “Mediator”, “Arbitrator”, or “Law Office” to make you believe that they are something other than a debt collector want-a-be and that they don’t have to follow Federal and State collection laws.  They do have to follow those laws, but they won’t.  They mention that they have received a Fax document, to create the sense of urgency.  They also tell you that if you fail to call them back you are "waiving your right to council", which is pretty much nothing but hogwash.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usually pretends to be a lawyer).  Process servers do not ever call ahead so that you can dodge them.  Process servers get paid to serve papers, nothing else.

Yes it is.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you he or she is coming by.  Ignore and block the calls.

A local number from Bolton, MS called first saying that she had information that I was being served papers. She told me to write this number down, 877-279-2905 and gave me a claim number also.  I called the number given and was told that I was being served papers for wage garnishment on the job for a check amount owed to Approved Cash. She started out saying I would owe $1900 for court fees, then said I owed $500, then I told her that I had made several installment payments at the business on the $500, then she said I owed $415, then said I could avoid being served papers by paying $249 plus a $5.00 fee to be paid by a debit or credit card. I told them I was at work and I would call back. I called back within an hour, but no answer.  Who are these collectors?
