claim I won a dream vaction, but only say they are called united gift center and won't say where they are based out of. Hung up on me when I asked.

Just received a call from Trent Brooks from the United Notification Center with fantastic news. That the sweepstakes for a $50,000 dream give away that we had entered some time ago was over. They were looking over our entry and had good news. That we needed to call 877-279-3525 ASAP. We googled this number and found a bunch of SCAM entries. We generally don't answer private name/private number calls for a reason.

That Trent is one busy guy.

Got the exact same call. I don't enter contests so I knew it was BS.

Same story from trent.....does he think people are fools .....i look up every number or company before doing anything!!!  BIG TIME SCAM

Got it to - I answered the first call but didn't say anything and then hung up. He called back and left same message. Glad I checked.

got a call from trent brooks yesterday claiming I won 2 round trip tickets anywhere in US, a $100.00 dining card and maybe $50,000! said I was entered in contest by using my bank card, they even already knew me and my husbands name. My bank knows nothing about this. Very scary! Big Scam! somebody should stop them. If we went to claim our supposed prize,my husband woulda lost his job for taking off work in the middle of the day. So glad we checked this out first.Please dont fall for this crap people, I thought, maybe I just finally got lucky and won something.,well, I didnt,and neither did you. dont waste your time.TRUST NO ONE!

Glad I looked this up on the internet before making any calls. I sometimes do enter contests and when I heard the message at first I was like...ya sure.....then I thought about and like many others thought maybe a contest I entered that I had won something. However that little voice inside said check it out first before making any calls. Glad I did and didn't waste my time. Thanks for everyone else's posts that save me the time.

This Trent guy has called me twice.  I knew it was a scam, but decided to look up the number anyway.  I certainly hope no one falls for this.  Like the one message sent "Trent is a busy guy".

Good ole Trent is a busy little beaver, he's called twice.I sure would like for him to show up at one of my construction sites to help with those peskey claim forms, my crew would love to meet him and they have a Christmas present for him, you know for being so generous and helpful !!! Merry Christmas Trent where ever you are.

I have a question for everyone getting this call, are you in South Carolina or have lived in South Carolina anytime since 1998? If so, I'm wondering if this is part of the hacking that occurred in the DOR office of South Carolina where 4 million SSN's and identities were stolen?  I also got a call from the "Welcome Center" saying the same thing, something about a contest I had supposedly entered sometime in the past year.  I have tried to google the companies name and nothing shows up.
Oh yea, I just got the number they called on in August, so I know that I haven't entered any contest with this number.

The same - Trent Brooks - "has some good news for me...." Caller ID was 312-262-0024. Message - call ASAP 877-279-3525. And no, Concerned, never been in South Carolina. Keep track of your contest entries and you'll be able to decern scams from legit calls.

I too got a call from Trent twice as i was doing some online surveys and entering in various contests.  Glad i looked this one up as I usually do when l'm told i won something!  Thanks for getting my hopes up Trent you scum.  Happy Holidays!!

Yep Trent Brooks just called me on a number I've had only 2 months but apparently I used this number to enter the sweepstakes some time back. Hmm? funny I knew the number back then when I didn't have it! Also know the number has not been in use  for 4 years. Same scam different day!  Not gonna call back but will put the SOB on hold if he calls here again!
