called repeatedly btwn 11am-noon and left no message. I don't want to talk to a telemarketer or survey when i'm doing my online classes! does anyone know who this is?

I finally answered and found out who this was!
Sallie Mae, my STUDENT LOAN people!
Of course, it was an automated message & waste of time.

I received a call from them too. I spoke briefly with them and they wanted me to give them personal information over the phone yet I could not confirm if they were who they claimed to be. The caller then asked me to call back.

I too received a recorded "Sallie Mae" message from this number. However, the number listed for Sallie Mae on the Sallie Mae Web site is different (888-272-5543), and when I visit the Sallie Mae site I find a status message on my loan showing that no further information is required and no action is needed on my part--which contradicts the phone message.
