- Mike from HoustonI just received the same call (on my voice mail), also at my work.
- SOI was also called at my work phone number. Went to voice mail. Same type of message that interest rates would be lowered and this was the final call. I have added my work number to the www.donotcall.gov list in hopes these calls will stop eventually. It is iriating that they are using work numbers that aren't even published.

- LD from San DiegoI received the same call at home several times. It is very annoying. They say that you are eligible for the stimulus assistance to lower credit card intrest rates and to call 877-282-3707.

- Protect Our Consumers| 2 repliesThey ought to be ashamed of using President Obama's name as a marketing ploy.I have a relative who signed up. Personally, I think it's a stupid service they provide. In other words, they seem to take your money only to pay your bills for you. I don't know how they work exactly but I would stay away from them. At the least, they don't seem to be ID thieves... hopefully.
No se enscriba! - ioSame damn call received here more than once. The promise of lowering credit card interest rate if you respond before the limited time is up. It sounds legitimate by mentioning that it is part of a federal economic stimulus plan approved by President Obama which does not exist. The message has all the marks of a scam.
- JS IN WASHINGTON STATE| 1 replyRecorded message that started midsentence: "Lower credit card rates...you need to respond immediately before your eligibility expires. Please consider this your final notice. Call 877-282-3707 Mon-Fri 10a -7p EST. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day."
The area code on caller ID was 402...I didn't get opportunity to write down rest of number.
And I agree - they should not be soliciting business phone numbers!!!!!- Call type: Telemarketer

- CecScott Gray called my mother with the same line mentioned above. Debt Free Lifestyle, subsidiary of Global Client Services, LLC (supposedly). The whole thing seems fishy, 877-282-3707 is supposed to be the main number. I called and it went to some other guy who rattled off about how I must be calling about low interest rates, blah, blah, blah. They told my mom they were FDIC insured and members of the BBB. NOT TRUE. Their website is a joke: www.debtfreelifestyletoday.com. BTW-what in the hell is the Chamber of Commerce Network? They gave this company FIVE STARS. Ooooh. I can't find info on that compnay either (other than an empty Linkd In profile. What a crock.

- this is a total crockTHey are soliciting people so they can get personal information on them. Totally fishy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
DO NOT TELL THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING.
IF YOU HAVE TO, LIE TO THEM. - Are they serious? These people have been calling me off and on for months. Well they called again tonight and something told me to just look it up while we were on the phone. And here I find all of these postings. Scott Gray also called me, but first I was speaking to a female and she transferred me to him. The more questions I asked, the more irritated he seemed to get. When I asked him for the name of the business and for his phone number so that I could call back, he got upset and curtly asked WHY? When I said that I need some time to think about it, he tried to convince me to give it a try. He kept going on with his little speech. He gave me the same number and the call came from 310-337-5200. I almost considered this, and am glad I came across these postings!!!!! I HOPE NO ONE GETS SCAMMED.

- Almost scammedI just got off the phone with Sam Keane from Dept Free Life. First he said he didnt need any financial information then at the end of his shpeel he asked for my bank routing number and checking account number. I told them my husband had all that information and I would call them back. Sam told me that a voice activated recording will come on and to just record my banking information and they will start the process. I was actually thinking about going through with this, who doesnt want to save money, but my sixth sense said nay nay. This time my inner voice was saying good things:) Rule of thumb: If it sounds to good to be true then it probably is!!
