My husband received a call from this # yesterday.  He ended up giving them the credit card #'s for two of our cards with expiration dates and the last four #'s of our SS#'s.  He called me at work to say the woman (an Indian woman named Sally) would call back in 20 minutes to get the information on one of my cards to add to the list.  Red flags went up immediately when he told me about this - especially the fact that he was asked to give our credit card #'s.  When she called him back he told her to call me at work because I was skeptical and wanted more information about the company.I never received a call.  Needless to say, I called both credit card companies and they suggested I report the cards as lost/stolen and have them reissued under new numbers just to be safe.

I rec'd this call today also.  I was speaking with Roberto, in FL. He claimed to represent visa and mastercard. Actually google shows this as Alpha Group Advisors 159 Union Blvd Totowa, New Jersey 07512.  Apparently, their company claims we are spirialing out of control and they need to step in and help.

The fact here remains that these companies have a computer dialing system that constantly annoys consumers.  I will be contacting the NJ authorities to report this companies' practice of computer phone solicitation as potential fraud.

Please remember that credit card companies only call you when they want to take money from you not to help you save money.

I reported the call to the FTC and my husband is not allowed to answer the phone when he's home alone.

I believe this company is a fraud. Unsolicited phone call ..says representing major card companies..Poor command of englshh..asking for ss infor and credit card #,s  Be careful

I Recieved a call today from someone named Sally claiming to be from visa and matercard .It cought me off guard since I was just contemplating calling about a balance transfer.I questioned her and she told me that someone would call back with the new rates . The man that called me back started by telling me that I would save all this interest over the year... blah blah blah and then said he was from credit card services,and that I would see a $1200 CHARGE ON MY CARD NEXT MONTH! This is where I cut him off and questioned where he was from .He responded with threats and insults .I Doubt that anyone from a credible business would be so rude and use misleading and bully tactics .Alpha group Advisors in Totowa N.J. have a web site describing there services.this phone # matches .They had some info on me already,Partial credit card #s .I will report this to FTC as well.I cancelled cards and issued fraud alerts to credit agencies. I Hope there is no harm done.

When I canceled my credit cards, I was told by both companies that there were no transactions on either card but I was happy I canceled.  I have since heard that sometimes people didn't notice anything on their cards until months after they gave their information to one of these callers.  If you canceled your cards right away, you should be fine.

Just received a call from Roberto saying he was from Financial Consulting Services, and represented visa and mastercard.  He told me I was in good standing and would qualify for a reduced credit card rate.  He also told me he was in Orlando, Florida.  He wanted to verify my credit card #s, and when I questioned him further, he kept repeating himself, saying he just wanted to help me and didn't I understand this.

I am going to report this to the FTC and BBB in Ohio.

Received a call from a representatiave of this company called Card Services yesterday.  The representatiave said they were located in Sarasota Fl and they wanted to qaulify me to reduce the interest rate on all my bank cards to 6%. I had to owe more than $3500 on my combined cards to qualify. The rep wanted to verify that the cards were mine and asked me to read him the account, expiration date and code numbers on each of the card I had. I told the rep I only had one of the thre cards because I was paying off my other two accounts.  The representative said they represented several banks The rep asked me to read the card I had with the digit beginning with 5 then the  connection went blank so I called the company back using the number and talked with a women there who was not very informed about the call coming from them.  I then received the call back and read the card number. I asked them to verify the expiration date.  The rep said he would have to check with his suprevisor and would call me back later and hung up.  I immediately called my Bank of America Card Company and asked the representative if they had that service and they said they did not. So I had my card cancelled and a new one ordered.  Bank of America reps I talked with did not seem intersted in pursuing this fraud.

Just rec'd call from Roberto in FL stating he could  lower my intrest rate.  He asked me for part of my credit card number and he told me the exact number and balance on the account.  He told me that I would ge getting a call to confirm info to secure the lower intrest rate.  I was not comfortable with this so I immedately called my credit card company and they said this was a scam and closed the account right away.  I am really happy that I listened to my gut.  Shut these scam artists down!!!!!!

i receved a call from them, they are financial advisor cie, they helped me lower my intrest rate, it was 24.99 % now it is 6.99% , i save big money since i owe like arround 25k, it is thrue they charged me for that service but it is nothing comparing to what i saved.
