- MEBEWARE - First I got an email from AT&T Online Services <vfy@amazonaws.com> yesterday, so I went to my AT&T login from a different email from legit AT&T to reset my password and ID. I get confirm email that also looks suspicious from <att-services.cn.188856644@emaildl.att-mail.com> and signed by emaildl.att-mail.com. I went to AT&T website to confirm via chat to first email and they said it wasn't them. Now I'm thinking I may need to change it all again if they tell me the second email isn't valid either even though I used old email login from them and unless they've changed their page layout that doesn't look same either. I also get false Amazon emails too which I have set to automatically send to spam so don't know why this one went through unless it's that additional aws on it. So, beware all of you about this scam because this isn't a legit AT&T number either. The first one in the part of it I could see without opening it said same as other person above only it was a password change which I didn't do and it also used an old ID. Unfortunately, I had to open it because Chrome doesn't show enough just hovering over the email. So, time to change my browser's info also. I really hate these @@@@@@@! I suspect whoever it is are trying to get me to download a BS online protection app.

- Concerned Customer| 2 repliesLike the previous complaints, I received this email, this isn't from AT&T/DIRECTV regarding an update to my account, which in fact I didn't do. **DO NOT DO ANYTHING!!!!!** The number they provided is not AT&T or
DIRECTV, they want you to call so they can't get your account password. I called AT&T/DIRECTV who confirmed this isn't their phone number, THIS IS A SCAM, whoever, very sophisticated, but do not fall for it!!- Caller: From a hacker

- Mad about thisReceived two emails, looking like they were from AT&T and DirecTV. I suspected phishing, called AT&T, verified it was not them. Added the email to Gmail spam listing.
- Furious in NCFell for the scam, very sophisticated. I should’ve known because the guy was nice! He seemed very professional, asked about service, did a full survey questionnaire. DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING! They hacked my account and I am hoping they don’t buy anything. I called the real ATT afterwards and they were completely unhelpful.
- Caller: Said ATT- not!!!
- Matt| 1 replyGot email below from "update@emaildl.att-mail.com", which referenced my legit AT&T info, and said to call this number if I didn't make changes. Knew it was a scam when salutation said, "Hi Cliente". Didn't call the number, assume I don't need to do anything since AT&T seems to be validating my IP address when I sign in...
Hi Cliente,
Looks like you updated the contact email associated with your AT&T user ID mylegit_email@yahoo.com

- Rob WReceived email from "update@emaildl.att-mail.com" saying my AT&T offline password was changed and want me to call 877.285.1205. I know I didn't change anything and the number does not belong to ATT. It is a scam.
- Beware!!!THIS NUMBER IS NOT! I REPEAT NOT AT&T & THERE IS NO ASSOCIATION WITH AT&T. Please do not give them any kind of personal information. If you do not know the number, do not waste your time & answer it. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

- Jane HilliardTold them I was not comfortable giving them personal info without verifying their numbet
- Yotuel RuhamaMy wife fell in the scam and they got 2 iPhone from a BestBuy from New Jersey. I don't understand why Att do nothing about them because for sure, they have been recorded in the store cameras and they are using the same phone number.

- ViviLIke everyone above, I received and email from them saying I changed my "offline passcode". I had no idea what it was so I called the number and everything about it sounded so real. The lady picked up (very professional) and started asking security questions and stuff but I didn't give them any information. Def a scam.
- MaryThey called from this number and said the towers for phone service will be down for two hours they texted me a passcode asked me to verify it , I hung up on them. They sent an email with a phone number saying my password on my acct had been changed to call them, I definitely ignored it. I called AT&T and they confirmed it was a scam! Beware of this bad people!

2. This is not a political site. Your post is not welcome here.
3. Say good-bye to it. - LeeThey sent me emails with similar addresses as done of you have noted. But they made a BIG mistake in using an email with my full name at gmail. They must have SOME IN with AT&T to get the customer’s name, but NOT a correct email address. I think they assume everyone uses full name @gmail.com. Fortunately for me, I do not so I knew it was a scam instantly. Plus I hadn’t changed my user ID as in one of the emails claimed, my password as a second claimed or my security question as a third claimed. As well as there being two different phone numbers in the three emails. That made me suspicious as well. Why would AT&T list different phone numbers in separate emails that were similar formats? They wouldn’t. Asshats. They sent these emails out WHILE my tech was here setting up my internet and tv. I just didn’t check my email till later the same evening. It’s crazy how these scammers get ANY of your personal information such as your name AS the tech is setting things up. My tech didn’t do it cause he woulda done the correct email addy in the scam email. Lol. Take care vigilant cyber peeps!!

- DR. DETROITNot only does the phone number not belong to AT & T, the spoofed sender's address this time around shows "98532127353363025116infp@notification.com." AT & T never uses some other email server other than their own ("notification.com" is owned by "blackboard.com" in Washington, DC) and if you were to click on the hyperlink, it would take you to "https://tayamun.com/webatt/att/Indexxatt.htm" which is a website that has nothing to do with AT & T. The email also is grammatically incorrect, showing it was composed by someone who's English is not their primary language.
