yes, very annoying.  They phone twice within a 30 minutes period.  THe rep said they will remove my number from their telemarketing list.  Actually, they have been telling me that everytime I complain.  However, they still keep phoning.

i've been getting several calls a day from this # now for about 3 weeks. there was actually about 4 days where i didn't get a call....but it looks like 3 calls today. so i guess they are back.

I did exactly what you suggested below. I have my doubts that these telemarketers are actually affliated with the TD Bank. Probably just using it as a cover.  
If the caller is from the TD Bank, I certainly won't deal with them in the future.

I finally just answered and bitched them out.  I told them to "Stop f*cking calling me!  I know it's a scam!"  Then I hung up.  I thought they'd call back immediately but they haven't.  Maybe it'll stop.

They have called here 8 times today the last call being 7:46 pm MST. We're really getting sick of this, we don't answer our phone now unless we recognize the number, which makes it hard for important calls to get through.

Every time I've bothered answering this call there's nobody on the line.

I doubt very much that it is TD as the last time they had a reason for calling they left a detailed message with all the proper information you would expect.

I tried the Ombudsman email posted above and guess what - it really is TD making these calls! So someone in the organization, at some point, decided that this level of customer harassment was a _good_ idea.

Called while I was roaming in Shanghai. Has cost me so much money I can't even think straight. These idiots are just that - idiots!

I too keep getting calls from these people.  Today I had six "messages" on my phone but no one said anything.  I'm thinking of having my home phone disconnected as they aren't the only ones calling. Too bad my provider and I will have to suffer because of these morons.

I've had an issue from a number of telemarketers lately. Don't know how they keep getting my number though?!
Just do what I do when I figure out a caller ID is from a telemarketer.
I have a folder on my desktop labeled prank call. And if I'm at my computer when these guys call...
I just play the audio file, answer the phone and leave the phone beside my speaker untill hey hang up.
If you're curious what I play... it sounds like it came from some pretty hard core porn. If you're hand set or in my case cell has speaker. Turn that on. Sometimes you can get a chuckle from their reactions.

Same as everyone else, I've been receiving calls from this number several times daily for weeks now.  I am heading over to the website IOptOut.ca  which is a free Canadian do-not-call registry.  Hopefully it will help.  This calling is driving me insane.

I've also been getting harassed by this number. Every day for the past three weeks I've been getting 5 or 6 calls from this number. At first I was never home to pick it up but always wondered what it was about since they never left a msg on my machine.

but right now, i am so irritated. Yesterday i sternly told them to stop calling--and what do you know? they call me the very next day!

i am going to finalize all of my transactions in my TD account, then i'm going to cancel and get the heck out of there. honestly, this is the straw that broke the camel's back...I've been a customer with TD bank for a LONG time but i just.can't.take.it.any.more.

And they call as late as 8pm and I have a toddler and a baby. Leave me and my family alone!!!!!!!!

I've been getting the same harassing phone calls each day and multiple times in the day/evening. I called the number and left many messages asking them not to call me back but I continue to get called back from them. I think that this was a mistake because after doing this, I received many more calls. I also called the TD access number (1-866-222-3456) and asked them to remove me from their telemarketing list which hasn't helped. This is one reason why I don't deal exclusively with TD and don't have any credit products with them. When it comes to a mortgage, I'll think twice before going with them due to their harassment. They don't know anything about customer service. Do they honestly think that harassing telephone calls will make people purchase their products or sign up for pre-approved credit cards or pre-approved overdraft protection? If I was interested in their product, I would already have it.

I have received about 7 calls a day from these fu*kers at TD Bank for the last 3 business days! They just don't give up. STAY AWAY FROM THE TD BANK OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE HARRASSED!!!!!
