This is a skip tracing co. that looks for people who pass bad checks, mostly through cash advance places. I should own stock in this co. They are awesome. (Yes I am employed with them) Ha! Pay your checks [***]!

well they just called me ,and I don't use cash advance.She left a message on my phone to have my lawyer call them back,and I don't write checks,so why would they be calling me

They are hateful, rude, ignorant excuses for business people. They make illegal threats, and have no knowledge of the law.

Just a robotic voice saying to call back. They don't even give the name of the person they are calling for.

Well I have been getting calls from them since about september 2009 and they have been making the same idle threats to me...they claim they have me on video tape getting a cash advance from money mart yet they can't tell me the check number that was used.  I have been doing some research on this company and have found out some very interesting things. Like the company has been dissolved and re invented quite a number of times.  The name H & P Capital Inc is a ficticious name that they registered in the state of Florida.  Whenever I call them back to get information the representative just hangs up on me. Its not like I am angry or anything because I have filed a civil lawsuit against them in the state of virginia for violation of the FDCPA.  Furthermore, the debt that they claim they are trying to collect on is more than 10 years old and the statute of limitations has run out on it in the state of virginia.

@Superman you know I wish you would get the calls so you can feel the frustratiion and anger we feel when they call. And for your information many of us dont have a debt with them or have paid our debt with already and they are still harrassing our friends, family members, and us! here is the information for anyone that is interested in entering a formal complaint against this company

I was awakened this morning by someone looking for my brother-in-law who has used ckeck advance places for many years and quits jobs all the time.  When I explained that I didn't know how to contact my bil because he doesn't have a cell phone or anything and hadn't seen him since my mil's funeral, the guy then aked if my bil is always "making trouble" and I replied, no- he just goes from job to job and we don't have much contact with him.  The guy then let me know that my bil was in "a lot of trouble" and he needed to call back this number so that he could voluntarily resolve this.  All this time the guy- Mr. Buchannan- never said what it was about and just said we better have my bil call.  Oh, and he said he was with BP & Associates.  This company I guess has used many different names.

I understand that people need to be responsible, however, I am sure you are aware, unforseen occurances befall us all. Your comment here justifies my thoughts and feelings on collection agencies. RUDE people. If this is how you think about people it will come across. shame on you. Most collection agencies will break the law according to the Credit Legal rights. I know them, You are not to call their work, only call a reference once and definitly not tell anyone what it is for. Many if not all times these are broken. Threats are always made. when you do a payday loan. you can not have it both ways, when one is taken out the person loaning the money knows that person is broke. you can not send collections on them in this matter. look it up. EVERYONE research your rights. I had to. I am suing companies right now because of there wrong doing.  There are many phantom companies out there too. beware but as for you, my friend, the only reason you think these people are awesome is because you are employed by them. You are just one of there monkeys with a lack of education. what about 18? you act like it and do not know the law!!!

These dummies are rude!!!!!! how do they expect to collect on a debt being rude???? They use all kinds of scare tactics and talk about the law. They need customer service skills on how to properly talk to adults... You will never get anything from me, talking to me like a child!!!! and they will tell you that you are in alot of trouble.... they will be in trouble if they ever call my phone again....It's a shame we as consumer have to deal with this non sense...

Got a call today from "HPC" what a couple of rude mother f-ers. These a- holes do not know the laws and make illegal threats including calling your refs and telling them what they are going to do to you. "DO NOT PAY THESE A_HOLES" contact the company you owe and work it out with them.

Just wondered if any of these threats are real. They say the police are going to come to my job and arrest me for a bad check. Does anyone know the laws on these check advance places? Please advise.
