Junk call, unwanted call. Scoundrels!

Outbound call from Pitney Bowse, looking to sell mailing equipment. Wasn't a cold call, we have used them before.

I just got two calls in a row.  Whoever it is, needs to learn how to leave a message.  This is was really annoys
me.  If you go through the trouble of calling someone, then just leave a message instead of hanging up and calling again and again.

Call frequently with no message. What good is the DNC list????? It is Pitney Bowles on the callback. Stop calling.

Pitney Bowes calling wanting information "on a recorded line" wanting information about our mailing habits. I'm very busy and don't have time for these sorts of calls so I have to admit, I'm not very forthcoming. I refused to answer how much we spend a month and when he pressed me for my full name I asked what this call was regarding and why he needed that sort of info. He said they were "Updating our list about us so they could offer us things in the future." I told him we weren't looking to make any changes and to take us off their list. We've never used them before, and if we do decided to make a change it won't be due to a telemarketer!

I agree we all have to make a living.  But this is why hard sales tactics keep getting customers annoyed and then they switch.  Pitney Bowes is on my black list for this reason.  They used to harass me often even after i replied that my existing contract is intact and the supplier is serving me well.  I did not intend to collapse my lease before its expiry,...  But they keep calling every other day to try to lure me to switch, claiming savings that are not real (just some silly number game of buy out lease and spread it over a period of time).  If this is how they do business, they are too desperate.  They are better off to find new customers who need the service.

Pitney Bowes.  This should not be an actual cold-call, but a lead generated an action taken previously by the caller.  For me, this call was generated because I visited the Pitney Bowes exhibit at a recent trade show.
