Tried to return the call and got no answer...I have no idea what this is about.

Collection agency. claims to have a warrant but is just a harrasing agency call.

At first a man named David Klein called me from an unknown number saying he was in Dallas county and trying to serve me papers,First of all ,a constable is not going to call you and let you know they are serving papers they just do it. I called the number that he left 877-287-0860 and a lady answered and started with all this BS like she was on my side and then she wanted to solve the matter and get money outta me. I told her not to call me anymore and I sent a certified cease and desist letter to their address,which is

Like Truck said above, these people pulled the exact same thing with me.

What is the address you sent a letter to? They just called me using a person who is out to find me. Her name is Nicole. She identified herself as a "placer" for the company and told me they need to serve me legal papers. They also called and harrassed my daughter. When she tried to ask them for a physical address, the lady did not cooperate with her.  After further asking, my daughter said they identified themselves as "Ridgeview Mediation Group", when they are also known as "Johnson Walker LLC' and "Johnson Friedman LLC". In the past whenever I've been served, I was never notified verbally - I was just served and I received the service papers from LEGAL companies, not from "make-believe" companies who can't identify themselves or provide me with a valid address.

Dan Klien is the name that was used when he called me and left a message. The number showing up on my incoming call and voice mail was a local number and his message said he was from Union county and that I needed to contact the filing party @877-287-0860 to make arrangements to provide my address to avoid being served at my place of employment.  First of all.........if you called my home number you can very easily get my home address.  Secondly......I know for a fact that our local authorities don't call to warn you that they are coming looking for you to serve you papers.  What makes them think they can come and serve you at your place of employment??  Law doesn't even allow them to call and harass you at your place of employment.  I would say showing up in person is even more of a harassment case.  
Thanks for the address "TRUCK", I don't know if it will do any good but I am also going to send a cease and desist letter which I guess will work until they sell to someone else.

Same voice mail from a blocked number which I NEVER answer, but left the 877 # on my vmail with the verifying my address and employment for a legal matter and he strongly recommends that I work with the company because one I am served they can no longer speak to me.

I received a call stating that court papers were going to be filed n behalf of a payday loan Ive never had. And the balance is 2100. she put me on hold for 2 seconds and stated she spoke with a mediator and now its 898. pretty fishy!

I too received a message from a blocked number and they left a similar message, asking if I prefer to have my papers served at a different location...very phony! They left the same 877-287-0860 number to call them back. The womas also states that she has me on her schedule and they only way to get "off" is if I call her back.

I too, heard from "Nicole".  I had previously been scammed by another outfit from Amherst NY - so either they just keep changing names and using the same database of SSN and other info they have managed to gather or Amherst is the scammer collection capitol of the United States.  The address listed above by "Truck" is actually a UPS store - so essentially a PO Box. There is no public info available on the phone number.  There is another collection firm "Resolution Center" listed at the 3840 address but no Johnson Walker Group. They are located in a shopping center technically in Buffalo (not Amherst). Bottom line is I am not going to contact Nicole or whatever her real name is.

I received the same message. however, the call left several messages on my sister telephone. When I tried to call, I get a busy signal.

these people are scam artists...as what has been said before...if they are going to serve you, they are not going to call in advance.....#frustrated in Texas...stating his nam is Dustin Allen

It seems Nicole is pretty popular. she didn't say who she worked for only that she was trying to locate me regarding bad checks i'd written against a bank account that was closed years ago. She claimed she had papers that were going to be filed with the court unless i called back to settle the debt. She has called me several times, the last time i asked her if the rug was the same color as the curtains and haven't heard back.

OK, I got the same call today - from a blocked number, and I, as well, NEVER answer blocked calls.  I called the county they said had papers to serve me, and of course they don't so I will put this person on ignore...But I want to know if anyone from above ever heard back from them or had papers served, or anything?

I just recieved a phone call from David Klein and he too, refused to give me his number. He told me that he was a private investigator and to call 1-877-287-0860 and cause # 206184. I haven't called the number yet cause I want to know what the 877 number is from first. I googled it, and see all of you all saying the exact same thing. We all need to file a complaint with the FCC to track this number their using to harass us. I believe it's a Federal Offense to use the communication system in this manner. Impersonating a private investigator, a mediator, and all these aliases. He even tried to get me to confirm my last four digits of my social and I did not answer him. I just made a noise like huh, to make him think it was correct, but it's not.

Dustin has called me a few times. Just now his message said it was the "last attempt.' Let's hope so!
My fave part is that he claims they want to serve me papers at my place of employment in NH...I work in Mass. Clearly, they have NO idea how to reach me other than my cell #. Good luck, Dustin.

FDCPA Law Violators....Do not give them any information or $$$....They are a Chop Shop Law Breakers!
Report them to the Attorney General, CFPB, FTC
