This Company is calling me saying that I took out a loan in May of 07, they notified my job to see if I work there. They are saying that my loan of 480.00 is now over 1,000.00 and told me I had to pay 288.00 per month for 8 months. I explained to Marie Wellington that I couldn't afford that much but if they could verify that it is mine I would happily make payment arrangement of 100.00 per month and she stated that it had to be the 288.00 or nothing that they really don't want me to pay it back that they would rather sue me to get more money. So I called back and spoke to Fred a supervisor and he was unbelievably rude and no help at all. He called me a liar and I hung up on him. Any Ideas as what I should do?

Ok I spoke to cashnet and they gave me the number to the collection company that they sold mine to, after a few more calls I finally go to the company that has it now and they where very nice and worked it out with me. IAG is not who had it and I am going to file against them also. Call who you owe and find out who actually has it and they will work with you.

This company called my house looking for my son-in-law.   They told me he had a court case pending.   The person from the company said she was a service processor for the court.   If my son-in-law did not call before noon the next day he was in trouble with the court.

My son-in-law then called the phone number provided by the company.   The company told him my conversation with them had been recorded.   If it was, they never told me it was being recored.   The never told me they were a debt collection company.   They lied on all counts and mislead on purpose.

The debt, if there is one, is not mine.   The company has caused a great rift in my family.   They misrepresented themselves, what they did and lied to both myself and my son-in-law.

They would not identifie themselves.   The only reason I know who they are is finding information on the phone number in the internet.

I have had issues like this before I had one tell me that police officers were on their way to my husband job to arrest him and when I finally got ahold of my husband. He said the police never came so I called the company back and told them I spoke with the attorney generals office and we were filing a law suit for harrassment they never called back.

This site - 800notes.com - is for sharing information.  If you get a call from a pest you look it up here.  Its possible that someone else has has dealt with them and knows what they are up to.  

Also, after you deal you post the details, to help the next person who gets a call from that number.

My mother as well as myself received calls today from this number.  They identified the company as PPS out of South Carolina.  They told my mother that I was being sued for an unpaid pay day loan and that she was being named in the suit as well.  That they would be coming out to serve her.  My message said they were going to be coming to my home or my place of business to get my signature.  That I have 24 hours to talk to them and hopefully work out a stay or they were going ahead with the suit.  They even stated a case number.  
Last spring I had the same issue with a group that has obtained information from one of the online payday companies illegally.  I had a loan several years ago. The feds shut them down every few months but they pop back up in a new place.  They are con artists, you do not owe them anything, however they will harrass you, your employer, and anyone you ever used as a payday loan reference. The last time they did this to me I reported everything to the police, gave them the report number along with a phone number to discuss the matter with the detective.  I also told them they had been reported to the FTC, that I need proof in writing that I owed the debt according to FTC law and they were not to contact me or anyone associated with me about this matter until the debt was proven.  I also gave them my attorney's name and number.  They never bothered me again.  You have to give them a aste of their own medicine back!  Give them case #'s and phone numbers to resolve the matter namely the POLICE!

Crazy! This guy named Wayne Adams called my work number looking for some Christina and said he had legal documents to deliver to her for a pending court civil suit. He left he name and alot of information that I should not have the privledge of hearing at all. He said to call this 877.287.6171 to speak to the filing party and gave a case # !! He said he was a courier - yea right. He is a bill collector! But still since this is not the right number to reach her, then he should not have left all that information.
