Credit card account scam

877-290-3321 just called today.  No message.  Number blocked.

Same Credit card SCAM - New Number

Called, left no message, hung up.

Ever since I started answering "States Attorney's Office" nobody says anything, they just hang up..  I only do this to those calls from "Toll free call., or other unwanted calls that I can identify.

Call today  with caller ID 'out of area' no message left.  Like what you're doing, Jim.  Has it cut down on the calls?

Failed to respond when I answered the call.

It hasn't cut down on the calls but has the potential to do so if the dummy calling thinks he/she might get in legal trouble.  One can always hope. . . .

1-877-290-3321 Since 9:41 am they have called every hour. ignored.

Put this number in my block list last week (credit card scammer)   Today they called 7 times but thanks to my settings the calls are dumped and the phone doesn't ring. Now they are wasting THEIR time. .

Called no message but do like the idea of answering phone atty office.

Sep. 8, 2017, 6:41 PM - Pre-recorded call in a female voice started out saying that "This is not a solicitation call", stated that "We have been monitoring your card for 6 months" and said you qualify for 0% interest. It gave an option to press 1 or 3. I pressed 4 to try to hear the message again. A guy with an Indian accent came on. He did not give his name, and said "Card Service Center" or something similar. I said "Wrong number", and said don't call again several times, and hung up.

10:57 AM - hang up call. I answered and said "Hello?" but no on was there.
11:48 AM - hang up call. I answered and said "Hello?" but no on was there.
12:48 PM - missed call. No message left.
 2:43 PM - I answered and said "Hello?", and after a pause heard the same prerecorded message in a woman's voice (described above) that I heard on the Sep. 8, 2017 call. I pressed 4, and a guy with an Indian accent came on who gave his name as Jason something, but after I said "Hello?" a couple times, the call disconnected.

Thanks for your posts and info they call leave no message. I just wonder what scam it is. I do not answer unknown calls. Even though we get many many calls it has gone down some in the past year.  Maybe all this posting helps or they change numbers once it is out. Anyhiw these post help get my frustration out
