This number calls me about 4-6 times a day. Usually really early in the morning & throughout the day for the past month
they say that they're GC services and i owe them money
i am 16!
sometimes they leave me threatening messages
i bitched at them, and the lady over the phone starts bitching back at me

They call 10 or 12 times a day, leave no msg, and on the rare occassion I pick up, they say nothing.

Yes, this number is from a collection agency.

These calls are generated by a computer which randomizes calls to your number between certain hours of the day (within legal time frames). When you answer the call it pins down the time that you answered and records it in the system (the computer assumes that this is the best time of day you are most likely to answer a call).

Once that answer time has been logged you will most likely keep getting calls around that window of time.

If this is a call from a collection agency the best thing for you to do is to send a letter in writing to your creditor and set up some sort of payment plan or explain your hardship. Ignoring calls will make matters worse and place you in ruin in the long run.

Keep in mind that these creditors work around the clock to intimidate you into paying what you should have paid in the first place. The best way to put a stop to it is to know your rights and tackle them before they start consuming your time and stress you out.

they call constantly on my cell phone, if you add a google voice number to your account and forward calls too it then block them after they call, next time it says number not in service and they dont call back

These must be the same dumbasses that claimed in 48 hours someone would show up at my work or my home to serve me for bounced checks.  I'm still waiting.

This number just started calling me today and so far they've called 8 times, starting at 9 this morning.  Two calls in a row every hour.  I have a neat app for my iPhone, though, which puts anyone I want on a blacklist.  I've added them to my blacklist and now every time they call they'll just get a busy signal.  I love technology!

I got a called from this number , looking for a Jose something , told them I just got this telephone number because I just moved from Florida, but they keep calling me, I told them multiple times wrong number but continue to call my house. I think this company already cross that line.  NEED TO DO SKIP TRACE MFS!!!

This GC Services are IDIOTS.  They call and call, you answer no one there, they hang up.
Do they really think if I had the money to pay in the first place that they would have the
account now?  really?      They call and call and you pick up and no one is there.

I got my first call from 1-877-292-2584 yesterday around noon; then today, since 8:40am (it's 4pm as I type this!), they've called 13 times and won't leave a message.  So I called the # back from my work phone, heard the lady answer saying "GC Services", and I hung up on them!  After reading your comments which seem to say much of the same (idiots, liars, fraud, etc.!), I'm just gonna try and block them.  I don't get it, my cell # is on the infamous "do not call" list; I guess they're in that "1%" that "may" still get through to you as per the FCC!  SMH.....

No answer for first 20 seconds of call. Then a recording saying it was someone with some kind of marketing or promotion done through Google. I hung up before I heard the rest.

GC Services is a collection agency for Credit One credit card, which is part of Orchard Bank, GC services, calls from A LOT OF DIFFERENT NUMBERS.

Michelle, you may simply have the phone number of the person they're actually after -OR- you may be the victim of identity theft. You should probably ask someone to pull your credit report. At 16, I assume there should be NOTHING on it. If there is, and it's not yours, you need to get to work on fixing it now, before you get to legal age. Hope this turns out to be the former, not the latter.
