    It is not in violation of the FDCPA for a debt collector to call you.  If they have the wrong party or you do not owe the debt, it behooves you to follow the guidelines of the FDCPA to stop the calls:

    I've seen a couple of those exact same posts up the last few days.  I think this is like the old crew that used to go around spreading false post about Portfolio, probably the same bunch.
