- Tired of the harassment!Claiming to be from a pay day loan company, with a debt over 3 years old!!!!
- SMBCame across as "blocked number". Called cell phone as well as work number claiming to be a "legal courier" named Michael McGuire, saying he is going to be delivering legal paperwork and court date. This is against the law. 1. No courier is going to call you before delivering, and 2. it is a violation for a debt collector to claim they are doing this. Call back number given was 877-313-2779. Absolutely no idea what it's for.
- Caller: Michael McGuire
- Call type: Debt collector
- SCAM ALERT!!!!!!If you get a call from these people just ignore it... they cant charge you with anything... if you have any questions .... HELLO... GOOGLE IT
- ImnotgreenReceived calls at cell and work from a company who claims to be a legal office. They asked by name for a person that must have used me as a reference. Caller I'd displayed BLOCKED. Caller identified himself as Michael McGuire and said he had "Notice for intent to appear in court" for the named person. He left his phone number 1877-313-2779 and a case#. I called the 1877 several times to have them remove my cell# and different people answered and hung up on me. I think it is a sleezy collecting agency using unethical tactics. I reported the number to the FCC.

- AndThen| 1 replyI just got a call this morning from Michael McGuire saying that he was going to serve me with court papers later today. I'm not sure if I should be scared or not. Is this how companies go about trying to collect money these days?

http://www.bbb.org/buffalo/business-reviews/c ... o-ny-235962988/ - Miss RossI recieved a call last week from a lday named Regina Chapman saying she was calling from Division One Courier Services and she had paperwork to deliver and needed me to show I.D. and sign for it she then said that she was hired by an outside source and gave me the number 1-877-313-2779 when I called them to find out they said that they were retained by Think Cash and I owe them a debt of over $700.00. I told her I had no clue what this was and ended the call. Then Regina Chapman called me on friday and again this morning saying she had paperwork to drop off to me and needed to know if I would be available I asked her where she would be dropping off the paperwork she said she didn't have an address and won't have one until 1pm but on my voicemail she said that she would be dropping them off between 11am-4pm so I told her when she gets the address to call me back. I have googled the courier company and nothing comes up so the next time she calls if there is a next time I will trace and record the conversation and submit it to my attorney.

- CharlieKeep having a Tim Newman calling and leaving me messages saying he is going to serve me papers to appear in court, unless I call this company , he won't leave me his number so I can call him back to find out what this is for, he said if I'm not at home he is going to say I refused to sign the summons, same thing happend last month these people called and told me I wrote a bad check, and when I told them I don't write checks, he claimed I was defrauding a a fin insitution. They like to make threats

- BobbiI just received a call that came up as "private" on my cell. it went to voicemail and it was a lady named Debra Peterman stating, like you all, that she had legal documents to deliver to me between 10 - 4 at either my home or work that required me to appear in court and left a case number and a toll free number. It did scare me at first only because I am going thru a different type of legal issue and I thought it had to do with that but then I googled it and found all of this. What a flippin' scam! This is not even a legal tactic.
- Almost Scammed! My brother received a call from this same company yesterday. I called them and they claimed the same thing but couldn't tell me the name of the creditor exactly. Since yesterday. I've had 3 voice messages left on my cell phone stating they are going to serve me by Wednesday between 10am - 4pm either at my home address or place of residence. I'm working with Lexington Law firm to clean up my credit and assumed it was one of my old creditors who had been removed from 2 of the 3 reporting bureaus. I'm glad I decided to Google the company! My person's name was Jeanine Carter.

- ShannonSame thing here. Jeanine Carter called myself and my friends cell phone numbers says that she is looking for me to serve a summons. I just talked to her and said that what she is doing is illegal. I told her to do what she has to do.....then hung up on her. They are allowed to call but not harass the way they do. I don't even know what this is for although I do know that can't just call anybody up and leave voicemails with all of your info and "court info" on other peoples phones other than your own. I think they are full of crap. Most unprofessional business EVER.

- Fed up| 1 replyI received a call yesterday from some man saying his name was Mitch McConnel with Division 1 Courier Services saying he was coming to my house tomorrow at 3pm to deliver to me legal documents and if I needed to reschedule this delivery that I needed to call civil enforcement at 4013902150 using a document # he provided. He only used my first and last name. Well low and behold he called just now and this time used my first middle and last name saying he was coming at 3pm with these documents. He said I need to have 2 forms of ID available preferably my drivers license and my social security card. He also said if I have dogs at this address then I need to make sure they are put away.
What on earth? I've googled these people and they are tied to a scam regarding loans.- Caller: Division one courier services
- Fed up replies to Fed upI've called my local authorities and they state there are current scams going around. They also said if someone comes to my home that I do not want to speak to I can call the police and they will send someone out.
