This is another one of the 50 million Charter Communication numbers wanting you to take advantage of thier great services. I told the gal in question that I ALREADY recieve Charter services and asked her to remove my name from the list.

Despite asking them to remove my name from thier list, I recieved another telephone call from them.

You can stop these calls by logging into your Charter account online. Click on 'Your Privacy Rights' at the bottom of the page. Next click on 'Privacy Preferences.' Fill out the form. Account number is required. Check the boxes to stop calls and/or direct mailing then submit.

I tried this today. I'll see what happens. These calls have got to stop!

Thanks, this number has been calling me constantly day & night. I never answered as I figured it was telemarketing, but finally logged on here to see who it was (in case it was important - which obviously it isn't!) We use Charter internet so I believe it if you say it's them. Now I'm glad I haven't answered! They keep sending us junk letters too that all say the same thing.

I followed the directions from snowflake but I'm still getting calls! WTF!

I was called by Charter and I told them that I have never had any business relationship with them. she claimed that I have high speed internet which I don't.  WTF!! I wish our wonderful govt. would get off their [***] and fix this [***] roach problem once and for all!!

Charter offering me a special offer - however this is the THIRD time I have told them to stop calling, I now have to make notes into my calendar.

The above is accurate! Although I had to log-in and copy my account number then log-out, and then click the link - fill out the form and cross my fingers! (Lets hope this works!)

been getting calls from them and they are leaving empty voicemails.

This is not actually Charter. Is is advertisers. You actually have to call Charter directly to have them remove you from the calling list. I did this a couple days ago and am still receiving calls. But now that I have done something about it, I can actually file harassment charges.

It's rather pointless to be removed from their list. As stated earlier, this is one of about 500 Charter numbers and the removal only lasts about 3 months, then another number will be used and the process starts all over again. So being called quarterly and 500 numbers to chose they will finally leave you alone after 125 years.

I wish they would stop calling me.  If they need to get in touch with me why don't they leave a vm.  If I want to call them back I will. Otherwise, STOP CALLING ME!

calls constantly...not interested

I did what Snowflake said to do but it didn't help, I am still getting calls twice a day, no message is left, either.  It has been going on for about 5 weeks now.

i just don't answer the calls from that number, yes they do call all hours of the day but that is fine...great thing with caller-id

Charter is about to lose a cust if this crap keeps going on. I too am getting phone calls all the time. Think of all the money and phone calls I could save w/o there crappy internet and cable! mmm yes!

Called 32 times since July 28th, I'm glad my phone can send a number directly to voicemail.

thanks charter....for harassing the customers you already have.  if only you weren't such a monopoly.  I'd tell you to shove it.
