Microsoft Windows license expired SCAM

Another scam attempt posing as Microsoft.

Caller identified them self as Microsoft Corp. advising me that my Microsoft License had expired and I had to call them right away to keep my version of Windows Operating, and I must call them right now! called Microsoft Corporation and reported the violation.
The rep there stated that Microsoft does not place a call like this one, and it was a scam.
I will Register this complaint with the FBI

A computer said that my Microsoft Windows license expired and that I should call this number to have it reinstated.

Voice mail was left on my phone telling me my Microsoft Windows License Key has been expired on my computer so Microsoft Corp has stopped the Windows services in my computer. To renew the Microsoft Windows License Key please call 877-329-8240.

This guy is an idiot. I took it as far as I could and they said they don’t take credit cards and you have to go and buy a google play card and then give that to them. If someone falls for this they are a complete idiot and deserve to lose their money.

Expired Microsoft lic scam. Called back. Got same response.

Rec'd call about Microsoft license expired. Played along and called back. When I asked how I could see my license #, had me go to 'run' screen to type in 'www.support.72.com' and that I needed to connect to Microsoft. When I asked what this will show me and that I don't intend to 'remote connect' they hung up. Called same number back and got message that number is no longer in service (877-329-8240). When I have the time I love messing with these people...you want to waste my time...I'll waste yours.

I did not answer the call but they left voice mail saying my license with Microsoft was expiring. When in doubt I don't answer, look up the number got to this screen...thanks for letting know it is a scam, I thought it was but you never know. Again thanks

Yep a voicemail, windows expired and has stopped working, call......

Inbound call to landline # on 17Oct2018, 1022 hrs PDT, WA state.  No named ID, only callerID# 1-877-329-8240.  No VM message left.  Glad I did not pickup.  Found out subsequently that it's probable MS scam.  Thanks 800NOTES people!

Same as others, caller from this number left message that my Microsoft license had expired and to call them back.
Second call like this within a month.  Previous call was different number, but same message.

SCAM!   Same as all the above - Microsoft stating my license expired.  When will people stop trying to steal and get a FREAKING JOB like everyone else!!!!!!
