The do not call list works, for those who are real, law abiding businesses. Charities, political parties (unfortunately) & companies you've done business w in the past can legally call you. These ppl that call you are scammers. They are criminals. Do you really think they'd abide by the do not call list????? If you think they would, I'd REALLY like to live in your happy little world where criminals obey every law out there, except conning ppl out of a lot of money they don't have!!!

Called same pattern as the others describe.

The person who called, "Mr Willis" left a corteous message asking me to call back to 443-268-0464.  The funny thing is that the message was corteous but completely scripted and he read the phone number I should call back with particular boredom.

When he finished his message he forgot to hang up and I can clearly hear a call center where a lady throws a joke and another laughs, very hard  :D

Pretty obvious it is a call center.  Respectable law firms do not call from call centers.

I just got a ring and no message.  I am tempted to call them back while utilizing my $5 far machine from Walmart.  I am having a really rough time waiting on back surgery in hopes that I do not become permanently disabled.  Maybe I will record it for YouTube.

This caller keeps calling & won't give out info. Started out with a belch then laughing, then they want person who doesn't reside here. Told them to quit calling. Called the number & found out they are the cloud & Willis co. A Mr. Woods answered. Informed him they are being reported.

First off, there is no "Mr. Woods" at this law firm.  I worked there 5 years.  Secondly, Mr. Willis does not call debtors.  Get your [***] straight before posting incorrect info.  This is a legitimate firm.  Granted, you CAN tell them not to call, but it is not a scam.

So you admit that you are a person with no morals or ethics that steals money from people?

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

No, their number is NOT (866) 728-2097.. It IS (866) 728-2098. I know this because they sent me a letter in regards to a medical bill that I have NOT paid. I haven't paid it because I have NEVER received a bill from the Radiology people. This is the first I've heard of it. They never called me, just a letter.

She is telling the truth. They have NEVER called me. I got a letter out of the blue from them, but on an account that does not exist.

You should contact the radiology people and ask why they did not mail you a bill.
Also, the radiology people should have contacted your health insurer for payment first, and your health insurer would have notified you about the claim the radiology people had submitted, etc.

That "kickem out quick" appears to be a franchise-type operation, probably for advertising purposes and also to connect that type of lawyer with others that specialize in evictions.

Many years ago I had bad neighbors in my apartment complex, I have no sympathy for troublemakers.
