Got the call from rachel again.  Same scam as before.. It looks like dhc financial has reincarnated as Freedom Financial Advocates. Phone number 866-323-0244.  Founded by the same guy that was listed as an officer with dhc financial services - Miguel Correa.  Come on FCC - put this guy in jail!

You would have got the exact same offer from your bank for free. These companies don't provide anything the bank wasn't already willing to do

What service exactly does your company offer? You say lower interest rates? how do you acheive this? You call the bank explain your situation and ask if anything can be done about the interest rate.

You can do the same thing for yourself for free. If you don't want to take the time yourself you can sign up for Consumer credit counciling or CCCS (which is also free) and have them be your financial consultant...getting you the exact same program without tacking a $900 charge on your credit card.

The truth is they couldnt help you because you didn't have enough available credit for the charge they wanted to place on your card.

Chase would have brought you out of penalty pricing with or without this companies help if you would have called them

CCCS companies are not the same as debt settlement companies which do in fact completely destroy your credit while providing no service. This company doesnt hurt your credit...they just don't do anything to improve it. They also don't have any amazing insight into how to reduce your finance charges.

I'm embarrassed to admit I fell for the scam as well. They weren't able to negotiate my 2 cards interest rates any lower but did setup me up with another card that would do 0% on transfers for a year.  They sell themselves as a lifetime membership but you can never contact them again once you hang up.  I’ve never received anything in the mail either.  After reading some of these posts it seems their base of operations or wherever the calls are originate from is roving from state to state.  They probably rent an office space for a month and move on, so they can’t be traced or tracked down.  I dealt with a Joseph Berle –probably an alias.  The number I had was 888-233-1563 x812.  

As I was writing this –just so I could hear the number has been disconnected or no longer in service message again-I just tried the phone# again and a human going by the name of Holly picked up.  They are going by the name FSGOA.com (Financial Solutions Group of America) - I think the solution is to not use them.  ‘Joe’ was out to lunch as luck would have it but they took my number for a call back.   I’m at work and had a meeting to go to so I couldn’t stick around to hound them.  I really wasn’t expecting anyone to pickup.  I don’t expect a call back but the above # and website may help you guys as long as it’s up.    

If they could be in some way linked to a money-laundering terrorist organization I bet they’d be tracked down.  They are not much better than common terrorists.  They are just financial terrorists in that they are preying on your financial fears and stress.  Both deserve a bullet to the head.

These scam artists wormed they on my phone and scammed me too.

In june of 2009 I was duped by DHC Financial for $1295, told a pack of lies and could never get their customer service line.  They told me I could cancel per jeff Richardson, but that was a lie.  They told me they would refund part of charge another lie.  Now they are no where to be found, six months later.

I used to work for this company back in july '09 and OMG are you kidding me i worked there a  month and didnt even realize how much of a scam it was until i quit and the company closed down not even 2 weeks later in my area. The miguel guy was my boss or SO CALLED BOSS that is..and he made it seem like it was the best thing in the world to work for that company..HELL NOO it aint.. im soo mad that I even stepped foot in that place..and another thing since they are a scam company I cant even claim them on my taxes for all the money I made with them..what a freakin rip-off!

u can claim them on your taxes everyone got a w2 in the mail! u have to do a 1099... becuase no taxes were withheld.. check ur mail box... it was good money while it lasted...
