Sales call

It would be a help to this site if you said what the 'sales call' was? It will help the next person who searches that phone number, & to see if the 'sale' is a scam or not.

Hmm. While the person connected to my phone line never said anything, I could hear others in the background of the call center asking for 'marketing'

So, I'm assuming that's who they were trying to sell to. :)

Caller asked for the person in charge of safety training.
Sure, straight to the solicitor voice mailbox.. see ya'

said they were trying to get in touch with the person in charge of safety training in compliance with OSHA with the company I work for. They didn't not realize we were a corporation and when I told him to call the main office, didn't even bother asking where it was located or a number

Safety Services Sales Call.  It may be for OSHA Training Manuals and etc for your Company.  You either : 1) Requested info from their website 2) Requested someone to help with Safety Compliance Issues 3) Someone listed your number as the main office for a business   4)   You have a contract with Safety Services or a connected Compliance Service Agency and need to take care of the contract.   -- But 9 times out of 10, this 800 number is a SALES CALL .  That is all I have right now..
