Not sure if this is a collection agency? or what?

pick up your phone & call the number.the recording says ars services, but shows up as unknown caller.

This agency called my house looking for my mother. We have not lived in the same house for over 8 years.  I asked and she did not give them my number.  I returned the call, they refused to tell me how they got my number.  I did not want any information about her account, I wanted to know why they called me and how did they obtain my number.

JUST WONDERING WHO THE HELL ARS IS...I GOT A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE, THE DETAILS ARE NOT UNDERSTANDABLE, THE CALLER CALLS AND TALKS EXTREMELY FAST

I have a brand new, UNLISTED phone number and these people from ARS keep calling me. They talked extremely fast and they couldn't tell me what they wanted or answer any of my questions. Gentleman was very, very rude.

This group makes threating calls. I believe calls from another number as well always leaving an unknown or out of area and hangs up without leaving a message. They will call a cell phone number several times, 25 times on mine 6 of which in less then 10 minutes! I don't trust anyone that claims to be a collection agency. We've gotten' took on two different ones claiming to be representing credit cards we have. Beware!

Similiar situation. Uurgent message was left to return call with no reference to who they are. Called back and the person would not provide any clear information as to who or what they are. ARS person referenced person I have not seen in 13 yrs. This call was very suspicious....

Caller left a message with phone number and extention. She said that they had important personal matter to discuss with me and go over my options. They keep calling almost every day and always leave similar messages.

A.R.S. Collection Agency.  Called saying they were calling to reach someone else for CitiBank Credit Card.

Received a message on my home phone from ARS looking for an ex-boyfriend that I haven't seen in 10 years.  I called the ph# back that they left - 877-333-3880, and asked how they obtained my home ph# (I've lived here for 2 years and got the ph# 2 years ago.. 8 years after last seeing him) and all "Denise" could tell me was that he "probably gave your number as a reference or something."  She said she was removing my home ph# from their call list.

Called them back and talked to 'Cindy' (Ironically the person who left me the message but I never entered her extension).  Anyway, they said it was a business transaction matter but no sales involved what-so-ever.  They then wanted me to provide personal information.  when I refused without them telling  me what the matter was about, she insisted several times that she needed the info for security purposes and then she would give me the info.  After several 'I am not giving personal info out over the phone without knowing what the info was pertaining to', she very abruptly and rudely said have a nice day and hung up the phone.  What a scam.  Maybe they were calling to tell me that my great great great granfathers next door neighbors brothers 1/2 sister from Nigeria died and left me a huge amount of money that they wanted to make sure I got!!
