Yes they called and left a message about my whereabouts and said they will contact my references. I blocked them. Scam!!

Got a call from them,  sent to gmail. An automated voice left a message saying the message is regarsung location and trace of  (insert person name)...
(wrong number don't know that person)

Said I own money.  I have been getting calls like this off and on.   The last time my son (a cop) told them we would be waiting for the paper work.  No one ever show up.  But they do scare you.  If I was older I might believe them.

Yeah same thing.Looking for me,will call relatives to track me down,say I owe money.They buy old debts that are way past the statute of limitations then try to collect on them by threatening and harassing.They need to find jobs that actually help people instead of scamming them and spreading fear-all for money.Isn't there a more respectable way to earn a living?

I didn't  answer and they left a voicemail Wanting my location.  My phone location tried to turn while it was ringing. There is apps that people trace others location  (kids, spouse,etc.) They download the and call the phone of the person they want to trace. Idk if this is what it is. But my phone location doesn't  turn on when it rings but it  did with this # only.

I got exactly that same message as Karla two days in a row, re my husband. We owe no money to anyone, so it's clearly a scam, or a wrong person with his name.

The remarks that the law allows us to contact all references on file is a lie.  They don't and now after I have researched this phone number I am learning that they are trying to scam others.  I have received lots of phone calls from this phone number.  They are trying to locate someone that does not belong to my phone number.  I don't answer these calls, but each time they call I note the time and date and I report them to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)  You can report them to the FTC through the Do Not Call website.
