Was referred to this number by my ISP because they use Yahoo as their email provider and could not help me with some issues.  The man I then talked to convinced me to allow him remote access to my PC.  He proceeded to show me errors "caused by bad viruses" and all sorts of driver issues.  He stated that my local computer support person could not fix these problems,  and that I should not turn off my computer, and that all my personal information was compromised.  He of course could fix it for only $1000.  ---End of call.  Did some research and determined that this 877 number is related to a twitter account,  and that's it.  I consider this to be a SCAM.

Well, since he accessed the computer he also got all your user names, passwords, banking info, contacts, etc and has probably installed malware such as spyware, key loggers, or ransomware as well.

I got this Yahoo customer service number from Google. I wasn’t able to get logged into my Yahoo email account  called & I let him into my system & he told me that I had been hacked & wanted $1,000 to fix it. I hung up and called my computer geek while the supposed Yahoo customer service person who turned out to be a hacker was in my computer did considerable damage to my computer & it took my computer geek a couple hours to get the hacker out, reinstall drivers and get the Trojan cleaned out of my system which cost several hundred. So unfortunately you can’t trust Google at all, thanks to them they connected me straight to hackers!!!!
