I received a call from this number in regards to a old debt for an HSBC card that I used to have back in 2012. I advised that rep that I have filed Bankruptcy and I will gladly give him my lawyers info. He continued to tell me that he has my lawyer info in front of him and wanted to know if I wanted to try to resolve this claiming that I did not include them on my bankruptcy but yet he had my lawyers info...... It is illegal to contact someone after they have filed bankruptcy. So I disconnected the call.

As soon as a creditor or bill collector becomes aware of a filing for bankruptcy protection, it must immediately stop all collection efforts. After you file the bankruptcy petition, the court mails a notice to all the creditors listed in your bankruptcy schedules. This usually takes about one week or less.

Received a call from this number, but as with all numbers that I don't recognize, I ignored it.

These people sound ignorant. Out to scam ppl. Put on spam list, blocked and reported to local law enforcement and FBI.

Received a call from this number they had accurate info including social security and birth date and address claiming that I did not pay an old HSBC bill. Do not believe that they are accurate after contacting HSBC.

Received call today at my place of work claiming I have HSBC debt from 2012 - they had an address from the 90’s and email that I don’t recognize. They claim I must have been ignoring all their attempts to contact me by mail. I had not received anything from HSBC.

My experience was the same as others who have posted here.  Caller would not give me his name, but said he was the same company as a couple others who have called and harassed me about a claim that is no longer valid or recognized by the courts.  They call themselves Client Mediation Group.  I have asked for their web address - refused to provide (although) they want to send me email?).  I asked all of them for a business street address.  Only one provided an address - it was a shopping mall, with Macy's, etc.  The other two numbers and people who have contacted me from this group are Jessica White (470)582-1142 and Dave Keller (Kellar?) (972)975-9575.  Based on my understanding of MD law, Dave Keller has broken a lot of them with his practice of calling my employer and calling me at work, discussing his claim with others, using threats and intimidation....it is a long list.  I reported them to State Attorney General and State regulators.  My next stop is US Attorney General since they are multi-state.  Please do the same.

I also was contacted had all my info never gave me his name nice in the beginning then got mad & angry his mood change when I told hem NO I'M NOT GIVE U MY CARD #. Saying that he will fail a law sue threw my country (ok) what county is it but didn't know . I got mad & hung up. Have got a call since but still got the # & it's a working #.

Called and when I answered and said hello no one there. They hung up. Will block number.

They keep calling and sometimes threaten to garnish my husband's wages. Supposedly they are trying to collect on something from 10 years ago that was taken care of many years ago.  Finally told them they have the wrong number and the guy said oh now I have the wrong number. You tell that to him once i get ahold of him and he's in court being sued. I said that's fine, you have the wrong number.

Person called me stating they have an allied account that I didn't finish payment on and that they have a picture and a drivers license of me going in the store getting the loan. I asked for a copy of the documents to be emailed to me and he got mad and stated that they were already sent to me. I told him nothing was sent to me and that I never had a loan with them. He got mad and told me that a court and hung up.

Business calling themselves "Mediation Group" called to a mobile number making a clear threat of legal action and demanded a conversation.   Mediation Group has violated of state and federal law.   Mediation Group was advised to cease and desist any further contact.    Caller ID Number:  877-338-3299  20 February 2019.

I was contacted by these people in more than one occasion saying I had an old HSBC debt which I know is a lie. 1st cal I said I’m not going to have this conversation with you over the phone cause I don’t know who you are send me something in the mail. I then hung up . I get a. Al on Friday again from them and this time the guy tried to get very nasty with me when  I told him to stop calling me.

I had the same experience as the rest, a man from "Mediation Group" claiming that I had complaints against me regarding an HSBC account. He called me by my maiden name although I changed it in 2010. I told him he was full of sh*t and he got angry and hung up. I called the number back and spoke to a woman that claimed the last payment on the alleged card was made in 2012. I told her to call my lawyer. This makes no sense since if it was a valid account, it would be under my married name. You can kiss my ass Mediation Group!
