keeps calling, for past week or so... no voice, no nothing then hangs up

I think this is comcast. I recently moved to a new city; they give me a call every afternoon but never leave a message. I don't owe them money or anything, so I figure they're probably wanting me to sign back up for cable (even though I don't live in their market anymore).

Assuming it actually is comcast, it's pretty crappy of them to call every day and not leave a voice mail. Harrasment if fact.

They're also calling me, although I told them I'm moving overseas where there's no Comcast ...

Hey all, this has been happening to me. I finally got fed up, let it go to voicemail (they didn't leave one), and called the number back. It's an automated attendant, and it gives you the option to be put on the do not call list. Pretty easy, wish I would have done this 3 months ago.

I've been receiving calls from this number, every day at the same time, for weeks. I've been content to ignore it, partly because it's election season and I thought it was party solicitation. After days and days of no left voicemails, I got fed up. It IS a service working for comcast-what they call a "promotional" voicemail. Mike is exactly right! It is an automated system, and it is very easy to request being placed on the do not call list. The automated system indicates that it can take up to 30 days, so I have yet to see if it works. I called the number and chose the 'do not call' option.  Wait and see what happens after 30 days.

This, in fact, is Comcast calling. I cancelled services on the east coast a week ago and I now live in a different time zone on the west coast. This number calls me at 6:20am my time and wake me up. When I called them to address it, they told me all they can do is place me on the 'Do Not Call List' but I'll still receive calls for the next 30 days offering their products and services. I had to e sure to tell them that for every time they call me, I'll report them to the BBB. I am in a customer service related field and I'm aware there is a fix for everything. They were simply unwilling and did not care to do a thing about it. Good luck to others out there!
