This number is involved with a series of scams too include "power company" scams. Where they state the power will be cut off unless you purchase prepaid cards.

Definite scam.  Won’t answet questions as to why power would be cut off. Gives you this number as a customer service number. Called the number and got the same guy that called originally.  Number had automated Duke energy voice.

Came through as a PayPal number, requiring a call to assist with a fraudulent charge.

Sent an email that looked like it came from PayPal saying an invoice for $889.90 was sent to me, then saying my account was flagged for fraud and will be charged this amount. My PayPal account reflected nothing like this. I called the number and told them they’ll hear from my lawyer if they contact me again and the person hung up on me mid sentence.
