Identified themselves as "Jamie "Called and left a message indicating my last name from over 11 years ago.. Attempting to locate me for a personal matter. Filed Bankruptcy 10 years ago and have since been remarried. The calls never stop. Always another company buying debt that is noncollectable. I'm sure they are looking for money any way they can, but anyone who has knows it is not a valid obligation after 7+ years and never from a bankruptcy..

Call from this number trying to get money it's a scam

My husband and I have both got phone calls and they are wanting money

They called me & didn't leave a message. Called my husband & left a message that was halfway cut off asking for my whereabouts & if he didn't tell them that they would begin contacting references. Didn't identify themselves. I don't answer numbers I don't know & have been scammed by people like this before. ALWAYS tell them you must have it in writing before giving anyone any information. It's illegal for them to harass you & not provide proof in writing. They give up & don't call back if you ask for written documentation or give them your attorneys number for future contact.

Keep calling me constantly asking for some person that's not even me. Automated voice messaging system threatening legal action if I didn't call back. Called back. Very polite American speaker answered. Removed my number.  I'm assuming it's a collection agency.

just got a calll left message for my husband, said the were tracing him, if i didnt call back they would start contacting referances. did not give name of company, have had way to many calls like this, a scam.

They call and say that they are looking for someone and if you do not get back to them that will call your contacts. Harassment.

It is a scam.

Trying to locate my daughter who hasn't lived here for 8 years.  Threatened to use 'other contacts' to locate her.  She filed bankruptcy 5 years ago, don't know if this is anything to do with it but I'm not going to give them the satisfaction of a call back.

2 days in a row I have gotten a call from 'Jamie' its a recording using a recording.  A live person is not going to say hit 0 now on a voicemail, and they use my married name which I have been divorced for 8 years.  No company name said just that they will call my 'references on file'.  Good luck with that total scam since I have no loans, and no credit cards they are all paid off and closed.

They have been calling for years for someone named Melissa Russell. I don't know that person. I managed to get all their numbers blocked, but they recently got new numbers I guess. It is a scam. Now they say they'll start calling contacts. Doesn't matter to me, I'm not that person. They can call her contacts all day, fine with me!
