They don't say who they represent  assuming it's a scam
I don't answer they keep leaving messages

I picked up and the automated system said "we are looking for '***** *****', to speak to an agent press 0". So I press zero, then I get hold music for about 15 seconds and then it hangs up in me. I call it back and get an automated message that eventually got me to a live person. A guy had me give him my phone number that I was called on, and then he said "your name is ******?" Which he got right. And he said "so I don't break any federal laws, the last 4 digits of your SSN is ****" which he said right. But I told him "that would be too weird for me to verify the ssn over the phone" and then he said in a polite way "that's ok, then our dept collection phone calls won't stop, they'll just continue"... and I said "oh so this is just a scam call.." and he nicely responded "yes this is a scam call".

I am tired of this. this company has been making claims that I owe for a payday loan but have yet to produce any evidence supporting this claim. They also began harassing my wife, mother and mother-in-law. So in retaliation for this I did a little research and low and behold what do i find. The collections company responsible is named BRG Collections, LLC. They have an F rating with the better business bureau right now and looks like they have for a while. With a few web searche I found out BRG collections is owned solely by one person. William Roy Blanton. He lives just outside of Atlanta. For those wondering there is a public document that shows his financial holdings where he has controlling stake in the company. Actually there are several considering it needs to be filed anually. He is listed as having 100% voting shares in the company. He also owns another collection company known as Ponzi.....ahem Ponce.
