This is a new twist on a very disgusting con.   I couldn't read my caller i.d.   I was in a hurry to pick up my phone  I am expecting an important phone call.   It was a recording of a man who definitely sounded like he was calling from the U.S.A    He said that Microsoft had detected several viruses on my computer and it was imperative that I called their toll free number.   The number he told me to call was the same one I was able to look up on my caller i.d.   877-353-1097,   I am not falling for that one.  Number blocked!

Most of these CROOKS are in India & have NOTHING to do with Microsoft.

I got a call from the same number.  The man calling sounded American, ...sort of.  He claimed to be calling from "Dell Concierge" and advised me that my computer is sending out viruses.  Vague threat that, if I don't get the problem corrected, destruction of my computer may result.  The correct company reference, for the record, is "Dell Tech Concierge."

Same as the above experienced.

Similar experience with the Dell Concierge. The male voice was an automated voice from a computer. The recording warned not to give out the Service Tag to anybody but a Dell Representative.

I also received the same call. Do not return these calls.scam. Dell only notifies when your warranty is expiring not about viruses on your computer.
