Got text claiming to be a loan officer following up with a loan request through BFS.

I got the text about a personal loan.

I received that text as well. Never applied for one.

First msg: Hi John., Alexis here from BFS. I am following up on your personal loan request for 28,000. I wanted to connect you with our loan officer regarding your approval & next steps. Txt END to opt out. Otherwise do you have few minutes now to talk

If you no longer need the 28,000 just let me know

second msg: Hi John, BFS following up regarding your personal loan options. Let me know if you no longer need 28,000, otherwise do you have a few miutes to discuss your options?

Same as everyone else. A lady claiming to be Alexis keeps contacting me saying I owe $33k even though I don’t have any loans!

Same as the others, text claiming to be Alexis from BFS.

Someone claiming to be be from BFS keeps texting my phone about a $57,000 personal loan. 100% a scam of some sort. My credit has been locked for years so I’m not concerned about that. Just some overseas company that probably bought our info to blanket the masses to fool some old people I’d assume.

Received a scam text on 4/28/2025 saying:
"... Alexis here from BSTI. I am following up on your personal loan request for $95,000. I wanted to connect you with out loan officer regarding your approval & next steps. Txt END to opt out. Otherwise, do you have a few minutes now to talk?
If you no longer need the $95,000 just let me know."

NEVER applied for any loan. Please DO NOT respond and report to FTC.
