To stupid to see the point of what is going on here, and to cowardly to approch them like a man.  I'm sure your just full of excuses as to why your being sued and how it is not your fault.  I'm mad personally because a big reason the economy is going down the tubes is because of peoples excuses and those same people not hanndleing there finacial obligations.  How about you talk to profesional on how you can fix your situation rather than try and weasel out of it.

Wife gotta a call (unsolicited) from this "law firm" inquiring about a "Tammy Green". Like a lot of "cold" calls; seems like this entity is beating the bushes like a scam and/or bogus law firm (ie. oxymoron).

I got this number #814091  who the hell are these people?  I have so not done ANYTHING to be receiving harassing messages from strange law firms or whatever they are!!  I'm contacting my lawyer friend!

I received a call from this so called law firm in regards to my husbands past due credit card that was turned over to this law firm for prosecution. They were rude over the phone to me. To make a long story short I agreed to pay a reduced rate to this law firm for &500.00 and gave them my bank account and routing number and now I find out they are scammers.. Now my identity has been stolen. I am contacting my bank immediately about this dilema.

Oh, I have until Feb. 25 th to come up with the &500.00 LOL. What a joke these people, what nerve praying on people like that. Thank god right now my account is at zero. But these S.O.Bs will NOT, I repeat NOT get a dime of my money....

A person by the name of Joyce Dickinson contacted my son, Maurice Johnson, left with him, a case number, stated i needed to contact her asap before a civil suit would be filed against me, one had not been filed as of yet, and they found his information through a private investigator.  My son contacted me, I took the information, and returned the call.  I spoke with Ms. Dickinson, who stated she was a legal assistant for Gillete & Paul Law offices, she was trying to collect a debt for Providian credit card company for $3,000.  I told her I did not owe them $3,0000, and would assure that if she would review their records it would indicate this would have to be for interest rate accrued on this account because the company did not close this account in 2001.  She then transferred to an attorney she said by the name of Anthony Lyons who basically reiterated the same as Ms. Dickinson.  I reiterated the same as stated above to him, denying a $3,000 debt.  I stated I was disabled, on a fixed income.  He stated then, because of my hardship, they would be willing to settle for $1,000 and draw up paperwork for monthly installments of $83.33 a month starting this month.  This month is February.  Today is February 5, 2009.  Installment due on February 28, 2009.  I agreed to him sending out paperwork to be signed.

Male caller from Gillete Paul Law Firm saying that I was related to or an associate of someone they are trying to verify.  Urgent that I call them back before 5 p.m.  Reference case #814752 and have all attorney information available.  Sounded fishy to me since he did not identify who he was by name.  No law firm will contact you and not leave their name.  Glad I looked this number up before I responded.

i got a phone call at my sisters mather in laws house regarding a debt from 1992.. i ontacted the ftc and they said it is illegal this company is goiny above there menas to contact family memebers..

Mr. Gillette's home number in Utah is 801-582-3563. I suggest you all call and harrass this man the way he is harrassing us. I found this number using a people locator website. Scott from Mr. Gillette's law office called my mother wanting information about me, however, they used my maiden name when asking for me. They left a message with a reference number, and said they needed info about me and to find me regarding a lawsuit.

The number called from was 801-924-2292 with a call back number of 877-359-7171. If this were a real issue, this firm would be able to find me very easily, they would not need to call my mother.

Two calls have come into my home number (we're on the do not call list), asking my help finding a person whom I've never heard of.  

HOW did  they get my info and WHY would they think I know this person?

so what you think is people should be rewarded, because they managed to evade paying their obligation for sooooo many years that the law has determined them to be so unresponsible that it's not worth the backlog of cases that would occure with out a statute?

They called my sister threatening that I woud be in a lawsuite -I thought I paid this off years ago - I think it was at $450.00 when I paid it off- he said I owe $1,000.00 due to fees and interest since 2003.. and they were rude and hung up on me - Now I know they are Debt collectors out of UTAH! These are inflated debts not real at all.. These are harrasing calls...

my brother inlaw in cedar got a call from his dad in center ville 4 hours away, looking for me 3 hours away. not sure how they made a connection to a man I have only seen a hand full of times. left the 877-359-7171 and a case number and something was to be happening in court the next day. this was really weird to me and I had no idea what it was about. I blocked my number and called and got the machine. I did get the name and googled what I had and found this site. I think they may be looking for someone else because I never lived in the city they were calling in and never used his name (bro in law's father) for anything ever. I also have no unpaid debt except for maybe an issue with the bmg music service from like 15 years ago i'm pretty sure I fullfilled that contract with the purchase of 2 cd's at regular price. Now that I know what to do if I hear from them I look forward to a call and a 1000 bucks!!

I don't owe any money, I dont even have a credit card, and it says that my "key credit classic" card is due 327.91 and my last payment was due may 6th, and this was sent out may 5th.... what the [***]

Mr. Julian left a message and case number, saying he needed to speak with me today about a serious matter in their law firm.  I called back but got an answering service.  I won't be calling them back or answering their calls after reading these various blogs.  I have an outstanding credit score so I have a feeling they are combing through old telemarketing call lists they've bought somewhere.

I just got a call from a man identifiying himself as a "Mr. Johnson, from Gillette & Paul Attorneys" asking for my Partner regarding some schmuck that he may or may not know [or knew].  I got the number and such and then looked up the "attorney", which lead me to this site.

My partner will be informed of this call and such, and what happens from there is upto us.

Same as everyone else, a Mr. Julian called saying he had a serious matter to discuss, and left a case number.  My mother got the same phone call.  We have excellent credit and know who we owe every penny to.  Glad I found this site.  I'll not be calling them back, and if they call again, they'll get the machine again.  This sounds like a scam to get your info and raid your bank account. - Not gonna get me.
