Actually received a text message saying that my VISA card had been blocked and to call this number.  Called number and not given my bank name, it just said my card had been restricted and to enter my card number.  Sounded PHISHY to me!

Got this message from T Mobile this am sms.alert@visa.com / VISA Card Blocked Alert. for more information call 877-362-4033

An obvious SCAM, T Mobile better get this crap straightened out or they will get dumped along with their messages.

I called the number and got an annimated voice asking for me to put my card number in followed by pound. Sounded phony so I hung up and and did a search and found that it was a scam

Also on tmobile here and got this same message on all 3 of my lines this morning.  We have another ongoing scam with our tmobile phones too that I researched online. Seems to me tmobile must be easy to hack or something. I just feel incredibly sorry for the people who fall for this crap.

Received same text on my Sidekick this morning. Called and they asked for my CC#.

Scam, obviously. I don't even have a VISA card, all mine are Mastercards.

Ditto... same thing... must be a fraud!

Got same thing, txt message from same #, have somebody call t-mobile, what have they said?

We should all bombard T-Mobile customer service with calls.  Do they not have security on their system to prevent someone from hacking into it?  What other information have they gotten from the contracts that we signed?

Received same at 8:05am Eastern time. Also with T-Mobile. Text was from 3654. (Lucky for me I have so many Visas that I had to search the number to find out what company it's supposed to be.) Interestingly: My mom & sister are also on T-Mobile, they didn't receive anything but they also do not pay for a text message plan whereas I do.

i got the text from this same # this morning so did my sister and her 12yr old son on his phone!! t-mobile need to fix this!!!

Got a text at 8:40am saying visa alert (card blocked) Call 877-362-4033 for more information. Called it and got recording asking for my card number.It is a scam. DON'T fall for it.

recieved text on tmobile phone from 3534 that card was blocked. it said pleasecall1-877-362-4033. when i called operator said # was disconnected or no longer in service. it left email addressas sms.alert@visa.com/visa. dont fall for any of these scams everyone.
