Did you get a call from this number 877-362-7735? It was strange.

called my cell and my work number stating they are with Nationwide Document Delivery Service, gave me a DA# to call or they will service me and take me to court.

Well, Carmin posted in this thread for that number so I'm betting she/he got a call from it.

Scam! Real process servers don't call in advance.

I got a call from this company saying they are a litigation office and gave me a file number DA_XXXXXX along with all my information saying they are going to wage garnishment and take me to court for unpaid student loan from 4-5years ago the rep I spoke to was Mr.Jason Alvorez whom was very rude and I tried to "settle this out of court" as he puts it being that I am on social security I told him that I was willing to make a payment was 2/3/19 he say no you do not get to choose on your terms when to make a payment and said that he will note it in the system that I was refusing to pay look to be served and see me in court...i said if your lines are recorded then its noted that i was not refusing to settle this then he says if I call his office again hes going to file harassment charges....what a joke...js

They called my Google Voice number for my deceased mother-in-law. Asked them to please forward the information to whomever is handling the case. Thankfully, I was too groggy to give them any other information.

So at first i get a call from a private number saying they are trying to find me to serve me, she game me DA# and 877-362-7735 and said i had to call asap and hung up, i then called 877-362-7735 and a guy picked up and said the call was being recorded, i then told him about the call i got and he transfered me to "lexy marshall" and so i told her about the call and gave her the DA# and she said she was Kaplan Law Group and they are suing me for $ 2,623.25 and she said its from a $ 625.25 debit from US Bank. she said it been through three collection agencies and i had been given the papers 3 times. i told her i had never been contacted and this is the first im heiring about this. i asked if i could pay the $ 625.25 and she said she would put me on hold and go ask the lawyer and she came back withing two minutes and said yes i could as long as i paid it by the end of the business day. so i was already thinking this seemed like a scam and i asked her how i can know its not a scam and she got really angry and said if i thought it was a scam then i can just hang up and they can take me to court. so i told her id call her back and i did some research on Kaplan Law Group. she gave me kaplanlawgroup.net and that site dont even come up when you google kaplan law group, there are several other sites but not that one. i called some of the other kaplan law groups and asked them about it and they had no idea and said they were not connected. so i called her back and she answer they call on speaker phone and you can hear all the people in the background and i knew she was in a call center, i called her out on it and she got mad and said she was going through with the lawsuit and that i would be served in 24 hours, i told her to F*ck off and find me and she hung up. long story shoprt, this is a major scam that almost got me.
