- Caller: toll free call
- JoCalled. Left no message. If you call and don't have the courtesy to leave a message, I don't have the courtesy to call you back.
- Mike| 1 replyI get called from a random number every day at 9am. Always a different number. Instantly blocked. Most likely a scam.
- SE Wisconsin| 1 replyReceived a call from 877-366-0622 on 12/24/2018 at 3:29 PM, the CNAM read as "Toll Free Call." I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Was subsequently able to determine it was an outfit calling themselves "Midland Credit Management."
- Caller: Midland Credit Management
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to SE WisconsinYes, we knew that since other posters have stated as much. Do you have anything more to add?
- Gina| 2 repliesBill collector. They sent me a letter saying they will take me to court. Is that possible does anyone know?
- Caller: Midland Credit
- Call type: Debt collector
- Well replies to GinaYes it may be possible if the debt is withing the Statute of Limitations in your state. That letter should have also dictated your right to dispute the validity of the debt and you should be doing that. Ignoring it will be costly for you. It would be better to consult a consumer attorney and ask about suing them instead.
- Lakota| 1 replySomeone from this number keeps calling me. Never left a message. If this was a true debt collector, I would have receive letters from Midland credit instead of the person calling and hanging up. Person called me at 522am on a Sunday. A total scam.
- BigA replies to LakotaWell that is not necessarily true. They do not leave messages because then it is not an attempt to collect a debt. They are not required by law to send a letter until after first contact (must be postmarked within 5 days). Calling at 5:22 am is illegal because they are only allowed to call from 8 am to 9 pm your time. They use outsourced felons from India to make calls so it would have only been 5:22 pm there.
