Keeps calling, this is a place of business. Rings, I hear a call center background, and hangs up.

Today is Tuesday 05/25/2010 and 877-366-2829 has called here to in Missouri.

We are a business, too. It's friggin annoying.

Today is Wednesday 5/26/10 and this is the third day in a row this week that calls have been received from 877-366-2829 first thing in the morning and again at the end of the work day (also received calls in past weeks from this #).  You would think if they don't get an answer they would leave a message or finally quit calling - not the case and very annoying.

They keep calling our business and when I ask them to take us off their calling list they hang up. They call almost every day multiple times.  Very Very Very Very annoying.  What can be done to stop this nuisance?  The caller ID is 1-877-366-2829 sounds like someone from India.

Yes, on all of the above... this is a business and they call every day... then it will stop for a while then it started again this week.

I got a call from 877-366-2829, I answered and they hung up.  So I called the number back, got a lady on the phone and asked her who this company is... she said http://www.ZipWeb.com.  I told her to remove my number from this list.   She said she would (I've heard that before) and it would take up to 72 hours.

We'll see.   Google ZipWeb.com and you'll see a numerous complaints.

These clowns just called me too.  I too am a business owner.

F those guys.

Zipweb is the company, they took my number for their no-call list, and said it would take about 72 hours to take effect. The person who answered the phone was very polite. They are telemarketers.

They keep calling asking for the owner. He does not take sales calls & does not leave message. # now blocked, problem solved.

The guy who called me - Mike Ortiz - says our business would be a featured business next month on some worthless search engine for free.  I asked him how they made money if its free.  After that first month, they start automatically charging you monthly apparently.

They try to "update" your address and information. ***DO NOT DO THIS*** Somehow by you verifying your address, you are giving them permission "feature" your business.

I politely asked to be taken off phone list and was hung up on.  I called back and spoke with a woman - very polite.  She apologized and said to give it 72 hours to update.

I finally got someone to speak and they asked for owner/manager when I said how can i help you they hung up.  Call all the time.

I just got a call from *877) 366-2829. Luckily I had read these comments before and made sure not to verify my address!  He said his name was Randy Lopez and ranted off about something "Google search engine blah blah blah and he kept saying it was free, I had to say 3 times I wasn't interested and he said "thank you and hung up" so then I called back the number and a polite lady came on and I told her to please take my business off the list and she said it would be done in 72 hours and to give her my e-mail address to send me my confirmation number so I did will let you know if they start bugging me through the internet.

Crap stops our work and they seem to make a game of this, should be able to take this group of abused businesses and start a class action. We asked to cease and it continues day after day.

Keeps calling my new number, I do not want them to call anymore......

When I answered, there was no sound, and I was about to hang up, but then a heavily-accented voice asked to speak to the owner. When pressed for a business name, he gave "Access." And as soon as I heard "update your free business listing in Google" I hung up.

This number has called us several times in the past couple of days.  I finally answered and got a Hispanic woman telling me they would feature us on their website, wanted to verify our address.  Typical opening for a cramming call.  I told her we have a block on 3rd-party charges to our phone line, but it didn't phase her.  Told her we weren't interested and hung up.

Assuming they are crammers, they probably aren't actually affiliated with Zipweb, but are just using that company's name to lend themselves some legitimacy.

Another call today. I wasn't in, and there was no message left, but the number was on the CID log.

Again just now-- this time I recognized the number and had a .wav file of the "this number has been disconnected" tone and message ready to play into the phone. Here's hoping.
