Lady called my phone (looking for my brother) and said either he or someone in his county (wouldn't they know if it was him??) had filed a complaint.  She said he had to call the number to find out what the complaint was/who filed it and that calling the number would immediately stop the complaint from going through.  What a load of baloney!

Woman called saying there is a pending complaint about to be filled on me in my county. They called me and my ex-husband(10 years divorced now) whom I didn't even have his number!

Person describes a civil matter I have no civil matter against me. It’s a scam. Benson and associates The lady’s name was Shannon gray “Hi this is an urgent message for Regina Strable Regina my name is Shannon Gray from calling you on behalf of Benson and Associates um I'm calling Regina because I show that you have a pending civil matter that scheduled to be filed against you out of the Williamson County um it looks like some legal documents were sent to you at _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ drive address but they haven't received a response from you so I need to make sure that you did receive these documents um if you can please call the mitigation department as soon as you get this message the number is 877377 I'm sorry 370-0675 again that number is 877-370-0675…”

Did you happen to call them back?

I have gotten a call from 877-370-0675 yesterday saying to call back about a complaint. Then a text today that was ultimately an ultimatum that I call back by 6 pm. or actions were being taken without me (in my county). This was my official notification. I called  and he wanted  $6000.00 for some Capital One credit card from 2002 that I have never had. He said that he was going to get the necessary papers to me. I told him that I thought this was a scam and read some of the same reviews that are similar to mine he HUNG - UP on me.  Lets see if I get anything in mail.

Some woman left a message in regards to a civil matter. Bunch of bologna. 🚫 the number. People are so desperate to scam others. Be watchful and keep on reporting.

Received a call today from a blocked number and from a lady named Helen stating she was representing Benson and Associates about a pending legal matter scheduled to be filed against me. Referred me to call the legal department for additional information. Total scam. I have no active bad debt and have not been involved in any matters requiring litigation.

Got a call from 419-719-2093 telling me to call 877-370-0675. They are telling me we owe a balance of $12,400 on an OLD (like 12 years old) credit card that we paid off 12 years ago!  They said they would put a lien on our home and garnish wages.  Benson and Assoc is who they said they are with.  Such BS.

Scam! No one can put a lien on your home without taking you to court first, which these scammers won't do because then they'd have to prove you owe the debt & that they're legally entitled to collect it.

Same deal but this time it was from a guy named Jim.  Called from a 419 landline in Ohio.  I hate these calls. My elderly parents fall for them often!
