I did some research and this is a complete scam! They get your info or who you are associated with and threaten to have you served or arrested!

A lady called my phone looking for someone I have known and state that she is calling for a 3rd party and they are wanting to serve papers. Gives a case # but won't say who the company is. Shady Shady!

Caller if said unknown caller. Woman asked for a friend of mine and said he needed to call this number and request a stop order or she would stop by his house or hob to give papers and requested id.

This is a scam. I called the number in the voicemail with the case number provided to see what they would say (without sharing my name or any personal information) and they were able to tell me that they were reaching out to known relatives of the person they were trying to reach. A phone number isn't hard to track down.

I believe they are debt collectors who are threatening legal action, which is why they call with an "unknown" number and have you call them back. Seems that it is predatory towards old people.

If you aren't sure, check your credit report, rather than letting some random person who is calling you from an unknown number scare you.

DO NOT give away your social security number or financial information over the phone. Just don't do it.

I called that number back and told them that I was contacting the police for harassment and giving the number that they left on my voicemail. The lady I spoke with said that they were having my number removed from their system.
