- Lisa| 4 repliesReceived a call from this number. The caller didn't leave a message. If this IS FSAFEDS, and Open Season closed a few months ago, I can't imagine why they would call me. Sure do wish they would leave a message.
- DudeI missed the call and they didn't leave a message for me either
But the number is right on the fsafeds website:
https://www.fsafeds.com/fsafeds/allotmentschedule.asp
"You can use these payroll schedules as a tool to determine during which pay period your scheduled allotment will likely occur. These schedules are not intended to be used to determine an effective date for a Qualifying Life Event. In order to determine the effective date of a Qualifying Life Event, you may either reference the Qualifying Life Event QRG or contact us at 1-877-FSAFEDS (372-3337)."- Caller: FSAFEDS
- AlCall from this number was FSAFEDS. Left no message but when I called and got to an operator the call was to tell me that all of my health spending benefits for the prior year had been used.

- Mark replies to LisaSince they manage a spending account, they call/email to verify you are the one who made the transactionand not an imposter (like credit card companies do).
- Mark replies to LisaSince they manage health-spending accounts, they're trying to comply with HIPPA laws & verify to whom they disclose your health-related spending information. If it's not a direct violation for them to leave a message, it's probably getting dangerously close & they probably have a policy against it & it's probably in the FSAFEDS service agreement to which you agreed when you enrolled.
- Mark replies to LisaWhen enrolling, you can sign up for email updates. However, they may still be required (by law or internal policy) to call you for important account events. I got an email when my claim processed, but also got some calls. Also, I received calls even before I submitted my claim, probably because the claim deadline for 2009 accounts is nigh upon us. Also got calls last month for the service deadline. All this and I'm not even enrolled this year (I forgot to re-enroll).
- Mark replies to LisaIn any case, just because they call doesn't mean you have to answer or return their call... but I would. MARK
