They told me it was Pay Pal????

Call is from PayPal looking for someone I do not know, very rude, calls many times a day never a message

Paypal screwed me over and then made the mistake of returning too much money to me. Now they are calling me 5x a day without leaving a message. I assume it's to ask me to pay them back. What [***]. Leave a message!

They just called me and did not leave a message or anything, i dont even have a pay pal account. I wonder why he keeps calling??

i have been getting these calls for a few days now. when i say hello, no one says anything.

It is paypal. They called me asking for a person that I do not know. Probably the person give them my phone number. After I sppoke with them and explained that I do not have a paypal account they stopped calling.

Paypal is holding the funds of my transfer for 180 days and are now calling me nonstop about the balance. Don't respond when I answer.

More paypal calls with no reasoning & no messages left. 2-3x per day

It's PayPal. Their debt collection number. Problem is they call several times a day and sometimes they don't answer when I actually do pickup. They won't leave a message, they have a machine sending out the calls I assume, because sometimes it asks me to wait to be connected, which I'm not going to do.

It is paypal's collection department. Just tell them that you don't have a paypal account and they will stop calling.

calls numerous times a day and never leaves a message they want $$$ they think i owe them which i do not.  if they would leave a message i might return the call and discuss with them reasonably the issue and come to terms like civilized people do but they never even leave a message

I called the real paypal, and they told me this was not a part of their company... When they called they claimed I owed them mony, which I didn't. They wanted a credit card to make a payment, I told them no. Then they were asking what the e-mail address associated with my paypal account, I asked them for what email address they showed... he got mad and hung up... now I get several calls a day and when I answer they hang up...

Called just now, says "800 Service" on Caller ID. Message was a person (sounded like a real one) saying "My name is Zach, I am calling from PayPal to talk to Perry Thompson". Long pause, I could hear others talking in back, then hung up. I have a PayPal account, but no problem with it, and don't know anyone named Perry Thompson. I thought maybe it is just a way to get someone to answer, like they might say "do YOU have a PayPal account? And what is the info about it, etc". I didn't think PayPal called anyone directly like that. And why woudln't it say PAYPAL on the Caller ID?

this is the story: since 2001 we spent over half a million dollar though paypal.
They are the worse service. They screwed us over with a sale. We shipped item through ebay and paypal did not protect the sale and they keep charging us with the amount.
Paypal: you are worse than any bank and any credit card company. You do not provide protection at all for your customers. All you want is: a lot of money for the transaction and you NEVER EVER offer protection to your customers.
Sue us!

These jokers call 3-4x a day. I have a paypal acct but I don't owe them any money what so ever, as a matter of fact when I log into my acct, THEY owe me $1.00!! When I looked up the number on google, I found this forum. Instead of being harassed everyday by a pointless SPAM call, and getting no response on the other line when I respond, I just logged on to my cell phone acct online and blocked the number that they call from.. Peace and quiet now!! :)

This number calls three-five times daily--both on my office and cell phone. NO ONE ANSWERS---and they do not leave a message. I WANT it TO STOP.  How do i report their number without giving my out.  According to others it is PayPal but i don't know for sure.

I get called from this number plenty of times a day and they never leave a message. Added to the reject calls list hopefully I don't get it anymore.

I am being harrassed by this number, too. Now that I found this forum, I know who it is and will block the number. Thanks!

I, too, keep getting snarly calls from this number each morning. They are not from Paypal, whatever they may claim. If it were a genuine call, it would be logged in your Paypal account and any PP agent could tell you when and why the company had called.
Is there any recourse to get these scammers shut down?

Guys this is not really PayPal. I got the call too. Its just some amateur con men. Tell them to F off and hang up.
