Anyone can create a web page to look like a legitimate company.  The 877 # they say to call them back on it in face the same # shown on their webpage however the phone# they called from was a 512 area code not a 716 area as listed.

I have recently started receiving a number of these so-called URGENT calls from a group of similar yet different numbers, asking me to call back on different 800 numbers.  The messages state they are trying to gather 'location information' and 'record of conversation on file'. The messages also include warnings to have my attorney contact them and the grievous, devastating nature of what will happen if I fail to act immediately. One message states to contact a David Pierce at (855) 231-7020 or a Mr. Cook at (512) 562-0062 (or any combination of similar 4 - digit extensions of that number) along with some account number to reference.

As many are stating here that this is in regards to a payday cash loan, I am self-employed so never would I even QUALIFY for such a loan as verification of employer is mandatory on such loans. I have chosen to ignore the calls at this time.

I did Google "pay day loan scams, AVRS" which led to the BBB website with multiple similar complaints. You have to click on each case for details and/or click the + sign to open the details.

    Here is one below:

Billing/Collection Issues | Read Complaint Details

    Additional Notes

Complaint: I am being contacted by the phone number ###-###-####. No message is left on my phone and they keep repeating the calls. I did research and found out this is a company who repeatedly keeps trying to contact me since 2011. The last time I called them back and spoke with them, they told me they were a Law Firm being hired to collect on a Payday Loan debt. I have any outstanding Pay Day Loan debts. The debt which they referenced was actually a Scam Attempt made on me, which I filed a Complaint with to the Consumer Protection Agency, as well as a Police Report. They tried to say I took out a Payday Loan via Website, with a company called *********. The date which they stated I electronically signed the loan agreement, was actually a day I was home sick from Work (and I had no Computer Access at the time, which I can verify with my Internet Service Provider). How could I have taken a Pay Day Loan, signed electronically, when I wasn't even at work to use my PC to do it? I had caught them in the Scam, immediately filed a police report, and a complaint to the Consumer Protection Agency in *********. I told them this information and that I wouldn't be giving them any money, and that I wanted their contact information, and they hung up on me. Recently (in the past months) I saw a ***** headline saying a Collection agency that was posing as a Law Firm was shut down for illegal collection practices and scamming people of their Money. It seems this business is still trying to Scam people.

Desired Settlement: I do not want any more phone calls from them, to me, my family, any of my previous/current employers. If any further contact of me is attempted, I will hire a Lawyers, use this case as part of my Evidence (along with the Police Report and complaint from 2 years ago, and cell phone call records) and have the people running this Scam jailed/sued on behalf of all the people they have wronged. For a very large amount of Money. I would also like Monetary Compensation in an out-of-court settlement in the amount of $5000 for the Damage to my character (slander or libel), incurred from any contact to family or previous employers. Should this be agreed to and handled via the BBB (so that I don't have to give this company any financial information or current contact information) I would consider this case settled out of court and agree not to sue them in the future, should they go to a Class Action Lawsuit.

Business Response: BBB spoke with ****** at business and the following response was relayed:

The physical account when debt was incurred was Sept 29, 2011. We did not have this account in 2011. The consumer's account was placed with us on April 17, 2013. We have left 4 messages and have never spoken with him. This account has been placed in cease and desist status and the number has been removed.

Consumer Response: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ****, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [This is a lie.  This Company has not left any "messages" with me, and tried to contact me more than 4 times before 2013.  I can obtain and provide Call Records from my Cell Phone Company, showing the numbers they have harassed me from multiple times in the past couple years.  I do want the calls to stop, so I agree to that.  But the Fraudulent practices are documented all over the internet from their phone numbers.  These people have to be stopped and put in jail.] Regards, ** **

BBB's Final Determination: After reviewing the position of all parties, BBB determined that the business made a reasonable offer to resolve the complaint. However the consumer did not accept the offer.

All I can say is do your due diligence before responding and be forewarned. I did recently have my debit card compromised, but probably not related to these scumbags.

Just got a call and voice mail from these scammers asking for location information and to call back at 877-381-5756. I checked into their website and one dead give away is the amount of spelling errors on their site. If this was a legit business, one things for sure, the site would be more professional and , the most important part is that the spelling would be correct....SCAMMERS!!!!!! BEWARE!

They are running a illegal operation and will not stop unless people report them to the State, or Federal Agency. Do not pay them one red cent. Block the calls and ignore them. They are pond scum.

This is a public board, and I think you have just asked for a lot of trouble from trolls, kids and bored people around the world.  You might want to stock up  on toner and paper.   Good Luck!  Sleep while you can!
