I keep getting calls from "Elizabeth Evans" asking me to return the call to 1-877-381-7319. I am assured that "this is not a solicitation." I finally tried to return the call to get this crap stopped, but all I get is an error message telling me that "all circuits are busy at this time."

This is driving me nuts. Can anyone help?

The earlier messages in this thread have a lot of information on this number. The calls are coming from Nationwide Credit, Inc. -- a debt collector.

Keep in mind that you have no obligation to deal with them. You can stop the calls by sending them a letter directing them to cease all communication with you and warning them that failure to comply with your request will result in legal action against them.  Then, if you they contact you more than once after receiving your letter, they're in violating of the law and subject to legal sanctions. Just be sure to send the letter via certified mail with a return receipt request.

Almost every day and sometimes twice a day I receive a call from an Elizabeth Evans with a message to call 1-877-381-7319.  I am sick and tired of this harassment.  Do they really think I'm going to call this number?

1-10  1-13  1-14  1-15 1-16 2008 receive phone calls from 1-877-381-7319 Elizabeth Evans . She says call this number which I have no intention of doing.  I reported it to the sheriff dept. but still going on. How do we stop this and not have to pay  for stoping, I am already on the do not call listing.

Iget these calls from Elizabeth Evans and to call this number. I even get them on Sunday1-13-08. I did some investagating and they are a credit  company trying to collect money even moneys not owed.  I reported to the sheriff dept.  I am pretty sure they are hired by Direct TV to collect money that I don't even owe. I have told them lets go to court direct t.v. that is.

Elizabeth Evans calling says number blah blah blah you know this already otherwise you would not be here I know how to get a physical person if you call the number but from there it is your job to get them to quit calling

if you get the asian lady hit 0 and it SHOULD transfer you to a screen that asks for a number in a male voice but if not hang up and try that over again
if you do get to the male voice place then dail 111 as stated before and yes you get a person (FINALLY) and they will remove you from the list
keep trying if at first you do not suceed

Keep getting this call at least 4 times a day...even in the early mornings. Elizabeth Evans 1-877-381-7319. Recorded message saying to call this number.  When I try to call, it gives me an emergency beeping.  This is driving me crazy...I can't get a hold of anyone...No asian lady...no man's voice...just beeping!!!  What the hell???

i have been receiving calls for the last couple days also. i want to know how to stop this and have them quit calling me!!!!

They called my business, recording was already going before I got the phone to my ear.  Didn't make any sense.  Surprised this call showed up on my caller id.

For those of you on the Do Not Call list - you should report these calls.  I had this happen last year with two (different #s from this one) where they were calling my home 8 to 10 times per day.  I kept a record & reported each & every phone call (pain in the butt, but worth it) to the DNC list - the calls stopped almost immediately.  Just wish there was a Do Not Call list for businesses.

This number shows up on my caller ID 7 days a week, multiple times each day and I am getting sick of it.  I am really getting sick of the phone ringing, waking up my small child during his naptime!

i did what sickntired did and they said that they'll remove my name from the list. we'll see if it worked.

This person name Elizabeth Evan has left countless messages on my answering machine with only her name and number and that this is not a solicitation call.  When I finally called back after all the messages no one was there to answer.

I get this message everyday.  I did try to call the number back and it is an invalid number. I'm calling the phone company next.

The number is nationwide credit as stated in other posts. The called in my case was for a $240 past due balance with DirecTV. Not sure what other companies they collect for, but if you owe DirecTV money it could be why they are bugging you.

Got this call today. They were asking for Tony Nicholson. I just got a new phone line put in my home. Phone companies have been giving numbers out too soon. This is not the first time I got a debt call for the previous owner of my number. It sucks! I called the number back and they said they will take my number out of there system. This has been told to me many time before. Going to take legal matters soon.

Recorded message from "Elizabeth Evans" saying to call back this number (877-381-7319) and that it's not a solicitation.

4 calls now over the past 3 days and it's my cell phone to boot. I refuse to call back and waste my time and minutes when they won't even say what the call is regarding - or have anyone on the other end when I did answer.

Prior posts saying its a debt collector - I thought they were prohibited from calling people on their cell phone?
