How did they get my unlisted phone number? They identify themselves as being with United Healthcare - and when pressed they aren't!

The number 1 877 381 9605 is associated with OptumRx which is a mail order pharmacy linked to United Healthcare and AARP.  I don't think anyone is likely to get a call from them unless they have placed a prescription order with them in the past.  In the past the caller(s) would identify themselves and being with OptumRx and state the reason for the call.  They have not left messages on recent calls I've received during the month of April 2015.  I do have an open prescription that's due for refilled and i believe that's why i'm receiving the calls.   However, I don't understand why the caller does not simply say it's prescription refill reminder as they have in the past.  I know CVS make reminder calls and I'm sure other pharmacies do as well.

I agree they should identify themselves. I have ordered meds in the past, but not in a long time.

I have United Health Care and they are sending me a lot of letters to switch to OptimumRx - which I have no intention of
doing.  I guess they are having a phone call campaign.  I blocked them.

This is a number for Optum Rx.  It is the mail order pharmacy for United Healthcare insurance.  Getting your medication by mail is convenient and sometimes saves a lot of money.  Most of the time you can get it in 90-day supplies and only have to re-order 4 times a year.  You can do that automatically online, also.  It may be worth calling them back.

Answered the call and heard a female say United Health Care then a man began speaking a foreign language...sounded like an African dialect. Tried to redial with no luck. Scary!

I have never placed an order with OptumRx and NEVER gave them permission to call.  I do have the drug benefit rider for Medicare from UHC through AARP.

8:15 on Saturday morning! Too early!! When I answered after 4 rings, there was a dial tone which tells me there are multi-line robo calls being placed. If it is UHC, I am a subscriber and I am getting lots of print ads in the mail promoting mail order prescriptions.

they did NOT get your number. they cal every nmber in sequence. unlisted, non published nunbers are in that . even cells if they call those exchanges.

caller id 800 SERVCE called home phone. i do NOT answer calls from unknown numbers. left no message.

Do not have an account with this pharmacy - if it is a pharmacy as noted earlier.  If they want me to answer, they need to have a legit caller ID I can see,
