This number keeps calling me every few days.. No info online... Had to install call block on my cell.

This number keeps calling me and I can't find any info on whom it may be... When I call back it has a French message the goes to this call may be monitored etc and rings a bunch

I have no idea who this # is from! I don'the answer it! Keeps trying all day though! PROBABLY a bill collector? LOL

just got a call from this number  March 10- 2017  the message implied that I need to address a public record that has been filed and payroll verification needs to be confirmed.  If I am disputing the situation, I am to have my lawyer contact them at the number they provided.

Hi I just received a call from this number and they left message, the same message you received? Do you owe money to any financial institutions?.. and what did you do? thank you

Nasty Debt Collectors from Montreal. Report harassment to CRTC

Real bottom feeders that buy 'time barred' ( past statute of limitations) debt for pennies on the dollar and use harassment and threats to try to intimidate people into paying. Ignore them or block their various numbers ... eventually they will go away ... Don't admit to owing anything because if you do that will restart the clock on the debt.

For at least the last year and a half, I have been getting phone calls from a variety of numbers that all come up as NCO Financial Services. They are asking for a person I don't know. During one call, the automated voice message said if I didn't know this person to press '1' and my number would be removed....Well...it didn't. I have had a visit from them to my house and have explained that I don't have a clue who this person is, but that didn't help.
Today, I had a voice message left for me saying I had to call them that it was very important. The voice message said the name of the Canadian Bank and also left the file number.
I called and talked to the person that left the message and explained that this was harrassment and that I don't know who the person is they want.
I had received a letter that had been sent to me by accident for this person. It had the same house number as mine, but the address for this person was 'Road' and mine is 'Crescent'. I figure that they made a clerical error, punched my address in and up came my information rather than the person they are looking for.
I explained this to the person and asked what address they had for this person. They wouldn't tell me, citing Privacy Issues...I thought this was hilarious since they'd already left the name of the Bank and the file number! They refused to confirm that they had the wrong address. I told them that I was giving them my information but they wouldn't confirm if this is what they had. Why they have my information is a mystery to me, other than the wrong type of Street typed in. I wish they would check their information,,,instead they just want to bully someone that isn't even involved.

I told the person at NCO that the next time they contacted me, I would be speaking to my lawyer.
Since I now know the name of the Bank, I wonder how proud the Bank would be to know w=how they are being represented by this company, acting as their agent.

That is my next plan of action....to get in touch with the Bank (I don't even do any business with that Bank!) and let them know how they are not scoring any points PR-wise and that if they have the wrong information it is up to them to correct it....

Wasting my time and causing stress that shouldn't be happening.
I will go on blocking their number, this was a new number and they finally left a voice message.
I will also tell them that, from here on, if they want to get in touch with me it will have to be by letter; I want everything in writing from here on in....

Good luck! I will keep this saga ongoing in this forum. Notice that I didn't break any privacy rules (I didn't mention the name of the bank, the file number, or the person's name they are after).

I called the Bank that was mentioned and they said there was nothing they could do to help. They suggested that I find the guy they are looking for and ask him to get in touch with them.

I don't even know this guy! The only thing I have was a mis-directed mail for him...So they say I should go to his house and ask him to be nice!

LOL....HE owes this Bank money, not me, and the Bank wants me to go to find him, meet him, and ask him to get in touch with them! What a laugh! No wonder I don't deal with this Bank!

If the harrassment calls continue, I will be hiring a lawyer, but before that, possibly talk to the Media (CBC). Although the Bank told me that If I did this, it could get messy! I wonder who for? Me? or the Bank?

What a joke...At any rate, I have now blocked this new NCO number. From here on, if they want to get in touch with me, they can do it in writing, since it is either the Banks mistake or NCO's mistake when inputting their data. At any rate...it is their mistake and I have nothing to do with owing money, and don't have a clue about the guy they are looking for....

Agent asked for my birth date to verify my ID and claimed to be from a company called Bridgestone calling on behalf of the Royal Bank.  Could not give me a believable answer as to why the Royal Bank was not calling me, and I asked for a callback number, and was given this number, but my phone says 587-206-4277

Got a call from this company called gate stone saying they were something wrong with my Royal bank account. Then when I called back they said they were collections company and ask for my birthday and other forms of verification and when I denied and said I would call my bank they hung up.

Called my bank to see if there was any issues or had anything it’s going into collections. They said no and sounds like it’s Fraud

SOL scammers that call on old written-off debt way past statute of limitations. They have no legal authority in the courts system, so they manipulate the most vulnerable of people to scam on old debts that no longer exists. In Canada, the individual is responsible for granting them authority by admitting to the debt in writing and/or any payment made, even one cent. They're both fraudsters and scammers. Know your rights, block them and report them.

Got a call from Gatestone saying it was on the behalf of RBC bank I called a lawyer he advised me to not give them any information and to block them.
