- ReceptionistGuy named Will calling from TW Consulting (funny thing is at first he stumbled like he didn't even know where he was calling from: red flag) and then he proceeded to ask for my CEO by first name only (red flag), I asked what the call was regarding and he said he could help us with our phone and internet services. I told him our CEO wouldn't handle something like that and dumped him into the voicemail of our IT guy. This guy isn't going to get anywhere, we have companies that handle that stuff for us and we're not interested... especially when this guy was cheesy as hell and annoyed me. Lol.

- kaileenawanted to speak to our fleet manager (which we have none). Would not leave message but said they were with Shell Oil and talked about a gas card. Sooooo not interested. Said they would call back later and I responded with no thank you and hung up.
- SallyBerryAppointment setter calling on behalf of Engie Resources would not say what company she was calling from....when telemarketers do not answer the few questions I pose, they do not get anywhere.
- SallyBerryKatie calling from Power Mark Resources asked for executive by name. When I asked for the address of the company she declined to provide it and said she would send an email to the exec. I sent him an email about the exchange and he commended me on again screening his calls effectively.
Katie probably works for a call center; earlier posts cite calls on behalf of several different companies.

- Big DCaller stated they were from Nevada State Bank and wanted to know who we banked with. Wrong question to ask me. So by a scammer knowing who you bank with gives them one more piece of a puzzle to perform a scam on you, say by email, where they craft a spearfishing email to you or someone in the company stating that there is a problem with your account at (banking institution you disclosed) and that you need to login to your account to see a special message and give you a bogus link to your bank.
So you, the unsuspecting dimwit, clicks on the link, attempts to login to what you think is your bank account but it's really the scammer's site taking your credentials only to use them moments later to wire transfer all your money offshore.

This was a cold call.
A very cordial woman said she was with Energy Bank and asked to speak with the owner. I informed her he was already gone and asked to take a message. She said she would call back. (which means shes a telemarketer of some sort)- Call type: Unwanted
- Food DistributionMan asked to speak to fleet manager. He said he was with Shell OiL Company. When I said you can give info to me and I will relay it, he asked how many trucks we had and tried to convince me to let him talk to someone about gas cards. When I would not give him info or transfer him he said he needed to verify we were not a good debt or we would keep getting these calls. I said good, maybe the next guy will be more cooperative about taking our phone number off their call list. I checked phone number and he was from Dunlap Marketing.
