Got text message thank you for vist our web site. Please call 877-399----to claim you $10.00 Walmart
card and 50.00 Gas....From 16503050301.  Fist they called on my cell phone that is for emergency
only and the number is never given out. Second I called from a Land Line, A man with a heavy
accent asked me if I was calling about the cards, then asked my name. I said before I answer, please
tell me what Web Site I visted and he IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP.  DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO OUT
UNLESS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO.

I got a text stating the same thing. When I called I could barely understand what the woman was saying her accent was so strong. I asked what website gave out my information and she said I had recently purchased something which qualified me for these cards....I have never purchased anything online. I kept asking what website I visited to earn free gas and a walmart card and she kept giving me the same answer. When I didn't give my name and any more information she hung up. Don't give any info to these people! I would like to know how they got my cell phone number, its supposed to be on the "do not call" list. A lot of good that did.

Same thing happened. I imagine its information sold from Facebook or something of the like. I figure I'll just ignore it, never give out any information.

same crap as above in a text msg bla bla - i didn't call - thanks people :) ok - just called to drill them lol the company is called at home rewards - everyday shoppers - shoppers advantage - they claim the work for k-mart and target and a third big company i already forgot.  they say pay $2.00 shipping and handling fee and they will send me a $20 wallmart gift card and a $50 gas card and a package with other offers i can sign up for if i want, i just have to give them my name address and cc# - i said if you have my number then you should know my name and address too - they hung up LOL

Same as above, but I had just left the Apple Store with a new phone & thought it had something to do with my purchase. Thankfully I was suspicious. I asked them why they texted me as I did not know who they were & they hung up. Very thick Indian ( or similar ) type accent.

same text...offered free walmart and gas card.  Some ILLEGAL is giving out my number as his own.  I get calls asking for him regularly.

Every word except Joshua was capitalized, that alone drives me crazy besides the slang typing.  Last I checked, I'm missing some plumbing to be a Joshua.

I have NOT signed up for anything, have NOT given my number out, I do NOT have any number tied to my Facebook. I've had the same cell number for over 8 years

I got the same message as above except it was for Cathy. I'm also getting at least one phone call a day (for almost a week now) on my cell from an Unknown number asking, "Who's this?" When I answer. I didn't get suspicious of it until I got the call less than two minutes after I got the text.

I got the same message.  I called first they hung up on me 2x then i called back and sounded interested.  the person on the other line said they are in Phoenix AZ.  But i am sure i was calling india.

If you get a call from 877-399-7795 just tell them your phone is private police phone and you are turning them in to the scam police. That should work.

Same message as all of you with the exception that they assume my name is Cynthia - far from it! I just reported it to the FCC. I don't even bother with these folks anymore, the only way for it to hurt THEM is to get the government involved.

I got the same message as most of the others. "Thx 4 visiting our site call 877-399-7795 to claim your $20 Wal-Mart card plus $50 gas card! Reply STOP 2 unsub". I googled the phone number first before calling it, glad I did, and came to this site. I was certain it was a scam but had to check the number. I'm on the no call list also. Never give info to any unknown over the phone!!

I just got the text msg from 415-548-0776 saying 'Thx 4 Visiting Our Site Call 877-399-7795 To Claim Your $20 WalMart Card Plus $50 Gas Card! Reply STOP 2Unsub'. I automatically tried sending STOP back but my phone didn't send it so instead of trying again I checked both numbers on whitepages.com. The 415 number just said it was a cell phone and couldn't find the other so I googled it and found this page. Glad I did.

Have no clue how they got my number. I don't buy anything online and don't have a card with my name I can use in the first place! If they actually try calling me they'll definitely get an ear full since I'm on the do not call registry.
