These people claim to be NCP Mediation Firm.  I spoke with them today after a very weird telephone call from someone saying they were from the "state process serving division".  They told me that my husband was being sued by these people and that were calling me as a "courtesy" so that I could "take care of it" before they had to seve me with papers.  The particular "debt collector" in question is shady and I got an attorney involved in this situation four months ago; they apparently are not taking it seriously.   DO NOT give these people any information (they seem to have enough info like social security numbers etc on their own).  My attorney is handling the situation for me so this is just an FYI for you.  I can not locate this company on the internet or anything so am not sure they are legit

These ppl have called my workplace and cell....also somehow got my sister in law's phone number and told that they were going to sue me.  When I ask them to send me validation of the debt they refused to do so.
They also told me that all payments were to be made electronically.  I have been advised not to give these people any banking info since they will not give me proof of the so called debt.  I also can not locate this company on the internet.

They are also using another number now 1-877-210-1503 I think they are a fraud this is the second time they have called me demanding money they called me in 2010 saying they were taking me to court if I didnt pay $2,000 I told them to send proof of who they were and proof that I owed them which they refused to do so I told them to take me to court then! they never did lol now their back at it again saying I only owe $500 now. this sounds like a scam be careful dealing with them and I also cannot find them online.

I just got a call at work stating he was a process server for the state of NC giving me a courtesy call before he delivers papers.  1st of all what process server does that.  I ask him what this was about and her gave me a number to call NCP 866-835-7121.  I spoke with "Michael Warren" (flaming a$$hole).  He told me he was giving me a last ditch effort to pay this account.  I ask him what account he said I entered into a contract w/ a payday loan company on 11/2011.  I said "INCORRECT!"  He back pedals, puts me on hold and comes back with a new date of 6/10/07.  I told him this is incorrect as well.  I told him that I have never taken out a payday loan.  He gets a little nasty stating that I can discuss this infront of a Judge.  I asked him to send me documents validating this charge and he says "we don't have to because we are not a collection agency".  Really?????? because it sounds like you are trying to colled $450.00 on a bogus account.  Needless to say he hung up on me.  [***]!!!!!!!!!!
