Just got a call from someone stating that they were IRS and that I was about to be arrested for unpaid income taxes. They had a strong Indian accent and stated the name Sean Miller. He had a badge number and stated that he needed my SSN#. This of course is untrue, I have paid my taxes and he would not give me a filing year. Also, he stated the police were on their way as a scare tactic to try to obtain information. Please go to www.TIGTA.gov to report if you have been called by an IRS impersonator. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION. The IRS will send you something in the mail and will not ask you to pay anything over the phone. The person had my address and phone number but nothing else. Please be aware this is a scam.

Got the same call.  He left a message on my voice-mail - had an Indian accent - I couldn't really completely understand him.  Said he was from IRS and that I needed to call back or he would take action.  Said he would pick me up at work or at home -- something about a law suit.  Glad other people are reporting this is a scam.

Got the call with heavy heavy accent and claimed his name was Michael Brown - Don't think so! Could not even pronounce my name and that was a dead give away. He was hard to understand basically said he was calling from IRS audit department that there were several claims against my SS# and I must call back right away.
