It's part of the Nigerian scam.  Don't fall for it.

Isn't using the mail to defraud a federal offense? If it were coming from overseas or otherwise untraceable or immune from identification and prosecution, the lack of USPS action would be understandable, but this card bears a prepaid indicia with a permit number (492) and other specific numbers which would make tracing the U.S.-based sender easily by inspectors. Don't they care?

yes it is fraud as I've just talked to the USPS about it. They are sending me out an envelope to send it back to them for them to look into. So if anyone you know gets one of these, which are post card size and printed on one side only, get in touch with the USPS so you can add to the pile of evidence against these crooks.

I also received a postcard stating I had an "Unclaimed Reward" of "$100 [in savings], good at Wal-Mart, Target, and many more, in my name." The number I am told to call and claim my reward is: 1-877-403-6545 > 24/7, with a deadline of Feb. 3, 2015, and my "Reward Reference # 0xxxxxxx9". I was immediately suspicious. What I usually do in cases such as this is to Google the phone number. 800notes invariably offers the best results, as well as the information others, like myself, provide.
That being said, I want to thank this poster for providing information to report this scam to the proper authorities. It is the next thing I will be doing.

Called my cel 2/25/19 12:40 pm PST. TrueCaller ID shows "Genetic Testing". Did not answer. Blocked.
