    my sister got a call from this number saying that they are looking for me to serve a summons for a bad check. problem is my sister lives in a different state and i dont even know her landline number, so why would anyone call her? Is this is a scam?

    No its not a scam.....i got a call from them and they said the same thing with me ....but i talked to them ...they told me what was goning on and i didnt belive them ...so later on the week some guy came up to my door with some police looking people  and to make the story short i weent to court....it was crazy...and thats why im writeing any chance i get ..so i can help ppl... and tell them what happen to me ..so they can make there own chosse
