I have repeatedly requested to be put on the No Call list from this "company."
They don't seem to know how to take NO for an answer.

They just called my workplace a couple of minutes ago. I have gotten hang-up calls from this number before, but this time a lady actually asked for the business owner/manager. When I informed her the owner was unavailable I also asked what the call was regarding because I had my suspicions. She asked again if I was the business owner/manager. I told her no and asked if I could take a message. She hung up at that point. I have been a telemarketer before. (I am not proud of that. Please don't think for a second I condone that sort of work. LOL) However, I always identified myself by name and identified the company I worked for before I went into my pitch. This company is surely not legitimate.

I received seven calls in the last three days. If I don't answer, they call right back. If I do answer, they hang up. If I call back, I get a recording which says they are closed. WTF?

These ppl will keep calling and harassing you. Turn them in for this! They call and say they have some "potential work" for you. Person who calls is very rude and mean and even threatening. THIS IS A SALES CALL ONLY. THIS IS A NEW SCAM TO GET YOU TO PAY...HANG UP IMMEDIATELY

I also received a call from this number that lovest to call my business on a daily business. The woman who was on the other end of the line asked to speak with the business owner or manager and I immediately asked what this call was in regards to. She indicated it was in regards to our online business listing. I informed her that we did not have one nor were interested, she then started her sales presentation and I immediately hung up on her.

A chinese speaking woman, trying to sell something..I didn't understand her...I just hanged up!

An Indian or Pakistani guy trying to make money...

Got a call from them, berated the lady into giving me some actual info. They call themselves USA Directory or some ^#$^% like that and claim to operate out of California. They want you to accept/confirm your "free" listing on google/yahoo/zipweb (just google zipweb and it autocompletes to "zipweb scam"!!), but it's ONE month free TRIAL and then its like $49.95 per month after that!!! Don't confirm anything with these guys; don't confirm your name or business name or address and don't agree to anything. Anything you confirm or agree to will be considered as "accepting" or "agreeing to" or "confirming" your contract with them to subscribe to their listing service and they will bill you and screw you. That is what they want to sell you. About a day or 2 before they call, you will get a hangup call from an out of area number (mine came from a 702 area-code); this call simply hangs up, but its purpose is to confirm that you are live meat. They try to get a couple a couple of times every year.

Got a call from this number.  Beyond speaking to someone that spoke terrible English that I could barely understand after her repeating numerous times I told them I was not interested.  Now they are calling back 4-5 times a day for the last week or so, even on weekends.

Just got a call, no one was there......really makes me made when I get calls like this.

4 calls today (Saturday) already.  We get 2-3 calls daily from them 7 days a week.  The same nonsence about wanting to speak to the owner or manager each time.  I just lay the phone down and walk away or put them on hold.  It is their dime...

This # called our office today and I stupidly picked up.  There was silence at first and then some guy said hello.  I asked how I could help him and he said hello again like he couldn't hear me.  I hung up.  What a waste of time!  :S

This company calls our office at least twice a day :S  What a waste of time!  I realize people have to make money, but there has to be a better way to do it.  Ugh.

Was getting calls from this company 6 weeks ago. I called customer service and told them to place me on their no call list. After the "72" hour harassment period, they stopped calling. But just now, calls started back up again. I have decided to return the favor by calling the company every few minutes and hanging up as soon as customer service answers. I have probably called them 30 times today alone. I am hoping my number shows up on their ID so that they can call me back and ask me to stop calling them. I will be happy to tell them yes I will 72 hours from now.

Always answer these types of calls - they have to pay for completed call.  Keep them talking as long as possible with fake info so they have to pay more.

These people have been calling us for many months.  Probably about 50 calls total.  About 90% of the time, there is no one there when we answer.  

On the times we do answer, it is always something like this (in broken English):
"I'm calling to update your free yellow book listing."  I have informed them on countless occasions to REMOVE OUR FREE LISTING.  THANK YOU.  

However, it never works.  Sometimes they'll call back again the same day.  Other times every few days.  Do NOT speak to these people.  Total scam.  

On another note.....What a complete embarrassment for RipOffReport.com to put their "Zip Web is good people" note on their site.  Zip Web are scam artists (google "zip web scam").  Having that message discredits the entire ripoffreport website.  Glad I found this website instead.
